I have an idea for a project for you. Would get you more than airsoft views as well. Not that you are thirsty, you just have the ability for this. Please have a read: Theres a drone aspect to warfare now. Probably dont need a word picture to describe the idea so ill just ask, what if an airsoft (preferably a minigun or scatter multibarrel) was upgraded to fire strongest, and with huge spread - to be a personal defender on the ground against drone warfare? Think if a real squad has one or more, they see the drone they can, with some odds, take it down? Assuming 300 feet minmum effective range at least to bother trying. So the ammo would have to change from plastic to a war ballistic. Not your concern, however i think this could be modelled with steel shot for now. Airsoft, because the replicas already have the asked for performance. Daisy airguns and hassan arent ready to blanket the sky cheaply, but our toys are. If the ammo can loosen filaments to bind and tangle, the system could truly protect. That would be someone else's phase two. I envision a series asking "can an airsoft be turned into a drone stopper?" Hope you share a thought on it. Thanks.
