Well, the size of Bowser needs to stay the same in Mario Maker, no matter what the game style is. Bowser was about as tall as Mario in Super Mario Bros. 1, so of course he's going to be about that size in the other three game styles. You can still give Bowser a mushroom if it makes you feel better.
I wish the mega mushrooms were Mario maker and Mario maker 2 so we can at least look bigger like in NSMB wii and U and able to walk on lava and abysses
