This makes me want the ability to add custom music to levels.
You'd probably have to make them with something like the Warioware DIY record creator, but MAN, custom music would make the game so much better.

For those wondering about the music, I don't know the first one (Might be from Zelda, or Mario), the second one is a remix of Ganon's Tower from Zelda: Ocarina of time (or Demise's theme from Skyward Sword), and the last two are the Bowser battle from New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and a remix of the true final battle from the same game.

Imagine if you could make custom themes in Super Mario Maker 2. Maybe make something similar like in WarioWare DIY, where you could create whole songs.
This video shows how awesome it would be if you were able to make songs and choose when they would play in your level.

A good Mario Maker Level? Now that’s something I haven’t seen in a long time...
There always hidden because of how hard Nintendo made it to search courses.
I know; I half expected it to descend into Kaizo bullshit during the second half.
If I had Mario Maker, I would make 8 courses in 8 worlds each and I would make a boss for each one. But it would take a long time.

I like this idea, and have implemented similar things into my own Mario Maker levels, but definitely plan on using this type of concept for future boss fights. Thanks!
Seems so much a Zelda level:the possibility of many paths to explore, collecting keys and solving mini puzzles just to open the door to the great boss, an inspiring level with both inner and outer ambientations (like many Zelda's castles) that are so different and yet feel complementary to each other. Overall the "pausing moment" before you get to the boss, when you understand you are at THAT POINT. And still the double boss that you would never expect from a Mario game, a boss that doesn't ruin the entire level design for its fragility but pushes you into a memorable (yet not frustrating) fight.

This level, and this video, is absolute creative genius.
I can see where you got the inspiration from. The whole 3 keys thing was from Pokémon Ranger Guardian Signs when you're on the Sky Fortress, and how beating 3 members of that old people group gives you access to the middle room (the top door in this)
You then have to fight a somewhat easy final boss, and then a much harder version of it right after you feel victory. Nice callout to an amazing spinoff game that's not very well known.
i wish that were the case but alas i have never played that game. I just like collectathon themed levels/games :)

Occasionally you'll find a level in Mario Maker that makes you "This could've been a level in an official Mario game." And of all those levels (Cuz there's no questioning the notion that is one), this one prolly takes the cake.

This was Intense. This was almost like Dark Souls with vibrant colours and protagonist screaming Yahoo.

This looks like a brilliant level which I can imagine being in a real Mario game.
who would ever dislike this!? look at the sounds and the one that has no sound till the boss sound and at the end when you beat bower the ending sound comes you know how cool is that!?
Couldn't the key part be cheesed using the invincibility frames from the mushroom?
I think its one block too high for Mario to reach without the bounce of a wiggler. At least I hope I thought that far ahead :P

Ok, 5:30 with the Giant Bowser coming from the roof was genious.
Cool feature for smm2: certain enemies (like Bowser) could be made able to pick up and use power ups.
Like imagine trying to keep Bowser from getting a propeller suit, then imagine fighting a flying Bowser, trying to knock the suit off him.

Before he went into the door, he had no red coins. When he came out, the red coin bar was back! That means he died between the cut and tried to hide it.
