Damn, these guys are literal gods! They are always fitting through the tiniest spaces without getting hit, timing everything flawlessly, and they are constantly using perfect teamwork as well, like in the water level when one of them randomly turns around for a split second to shoot a single fireball to save the other by killing a fish or popping a bubble for them at the perfect place and time (that stuff starts at 11:16)
I already knew I would like this before it even started. This is seriously amazing Greg! I can tell you put in tons of effort into this run because of how entertaining it is. So many sick shell jumps, fast wallkick movement, coordinated item sequences. You've outdone yourself here. Any plans to continue with this any further? I'm sure this was a dreadful project to take on. The double ground pound at 10:04 actually made laugh btw. Great work!
I would like to see this completed but for now I don't expect this to be finish, but if I got motivation I can do 1 or 2 more worlds but the entire game would take a lots of time (especially on finding good movement and make it working wich is for sure the hardest think to do when you don't have a tool like TAS Editor for Dolphin)
I can watch these guys everyday! Whenever I see other 4 players play in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, they just come off as really slow. But here, you can actually see how well trained those Speedrunners are! The way they juggle and move in a quick pass is really satisfying to watch! Let's hope that we can get to see part 2 in the future! 😁
When they play: they do good and work together What Everyone gets when they play four players there are always these people.. 1: the guy who runs in front of everyone and dies 2: the guy who takes all of the powerups 3: the 3-4 year old who your mom forced you to play with who does not know how to run and jump and only walks then dies, then he/she get mad and say the game is impossible 4: the one guy who is decent at Mario and just wished he played 1 player
Altarnate squad: 1 the guy who collects every single coin 2 The guy who's trowing people off cliffs the whole time 3 The guy that's always in a bubble and let the others do all the work 4 the guy who is going super fast and kills all the others with a wall
i got this game 3 days after it came out and just found out ground-pounding at the same time in multiplayer does something special. i need friends. nice tas
I can't imagine what it's like figuring out what each player should be doing at every moment. I can only imagine the potential optimizations in a TAS of this nature (4 players). Great work man
Mario: The guy going as fast as inhumanly possible Luigi: Insists on getting little to no powerups at all (also being spit out by yoshi continuously) Btoad: Kinda a troll sometimes, but overall a friendly guy that almost always gets in the pipe last somehow Ytoad: loves ice flower and seems to be good friends with mario

Painfully unfunny and unoriginal
Joseph G exactly this guy gets it “I used three emojis funny hahaha”
@@jg9249-u8f fact.
@@jg9249-u8f Thanks :)
I love how the entire time Luigi is casually trying to kill himself.
He wants to end it, but he's too skilled and reflexively ends up doing cool parkour instead.

Damn, these guys are literal gods! They are always fitting through the tiniest spaces without getting hit, timing everything flawlessly, and they are constantly using perfect teamwork as well, like in the water level when one of them randomly turns around for a split second to shoot a single fireball to save the other by killing a fish or popping a bubble for them at the perfect place and time (that stuff starts at 11:16)
This is a tas run unfortunately (robots) but it would be very cool if real people could do this category this well.
@@jakc.l you missed the joke dude
I already knew I would like this before it even started.
This is seriously amazing Greg! I can tell you put in tons of effort into this run because of how entertaining it is. So many sick shell jumps, fast wallkick movement, coordinated item sequences. You've outdone yourself here.
Any plans to continue with this any further? I'm sure this was a dreadful project to take on.
The double ground pound at 10:04 actually made laugh btw. Great work!
I would like to see this completed but for now I don't expect this to be finish, but if I got motivation I can do 1 or 2 more worlds but the entire game would take a lots of time (especially on finding good movement and make it working wich is for sure the hardest think to do when you don't have a tool like TAS Editor for Dolphin)
yea there were a few parts that made be laugh too. This was an amazing tas.
@@GregLvkSR Do you have any suggestions for getting into tasing?
@@pants1403 you should use a taser lol
@@GregLvkSR pls do
because of quarantine, so many cool TASes are coming out
You changed your profile picture.
This is one of the best 4-Player games I’ve seen! Nice work! 😁😁😁
15:43 How The Hell Did yellow toad and Mario Do That?!?! Impressive af!
12:59
*proceeds to complete in 1 second*
I can watch these guys everyday! Whenever I see other 4 players play in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, they just come off as really slow. But here, you can actually see how well trained those Speedrunners are! The way they juggle and move in a quick pass is really satisfying to watch!
Let's hope that we can get to see part 2 in the future! 😁
Ikr these guys are so fun to watch
Luigi: **doesnt grab powerups**
Me: this shows his ultimate power, RISE MY PRETTY!
12:29 He seems better at sinking than rising.
I can't wait for him to be the designated Minishroom user
He can manage while doing absolutely nothing. What does he need some puny power ups for?
myowncomputerstuff 17:49 he commits- video was too graphic, they had to cut it out
9:48 they really had to flex that hard on my mans...
XD
This is the definition of team work.
Are just gonna not talk about luigi’s head disconnecting from his body?
18:15
I was literally gonna say that lol
Maybe they might have entered the exact frame before it paused to enter the next section
For you beat me to it ..
@@RicoGamerBoi I was about to write that
Fr
When they play: they do good and work together
What Everyone gets when they play four players there are always these people..
1: the guy who runs in front of everyone and dies
2: the guy who takes all of the powerups
3: the 3-4 year old who your mom forced you to play with who does not know how to run and jump and only walks then dies, then he/she get mad and say the game is impossible
4: the one guy who is decent at Mario and just wished he played 1 player
I would be player 4 haha
Altarnate squad:
1 the guy who collects every single coin
2 The guy who's trowing people off cliffs the whole time
3 The guy that's always in a bubble and let the others do all the work
4 the guy who is going super fast and kills all the others with a wall
The alternate squad is my 3D world squad exactly
My Squad:
Me: The Veteran
Player 2: The Strategist
Player 3: Item Juggernaut
Player 4: the baby
I would be 1 and 4
This is TAS why ppl are getting amazed, not real players. But smooth vid btw.
18:14 dear god what did they do to him. His HEAD!
The gameplay you see most of the time isn't what actually happens, THIS is what actually happens when the princess is captured.
5:29 ayo that Mario yoshi swap was mind blowing
Larry *gets in his untouchable shell you are supposed to avoid*
Mario and Toad : * 10:00 *

Parker, Noah dear god
Things like this are always to interesting to me, I love seeing all the crazy things you can do when all 4 players basically share one mind
I can't imagine what it's like figuring out what each player should be doing at every moment. I can only imagine the potential optimizations in a TAS of this nature (4 players). Great work man
Uh this is tas look at description

Normal TAS: beat the game as quickly as possible
This one: "This isn't your average everyday clownery... This is _advanced_ clownery."
This isn't a circus anymore pal, this is clown college, and you're at the final exam.

lmao
15:23 how perfectly synched was how the bros jumped at the same time
5:28 And so Luigi got his first power - up
level 3 was basically "don't let Luigi touch the ground.
Aka if they played the floor is lava, a game which is not touching the floor lol
And so was the first castle boss room with toad instead
More like a game of "Don't let him get a 2nd power up"
It's a remake of the official vid in Peach's castle
Just like that one star coin hint video
Mario: The guy going as fast as inhumanly possible
Luigi: Insists on getting little to no powerups at all (also being spit out by yoshi continuously)
Btoad: Kinda a troll sometimes, but overall a friendly guy that almost always gets in the pipe last somehow
Ytoad: loves ice flower and seems to be good friends with mario
I love how you can create humor in a TAS run it’s so enjoyable
14:46
This is incredible, but I like this more.
This was so fun to watch, omg
at 14:25 Yellow Toad throws an ice ball back to freeze a green shell, then Blue Toad picks it up and tosses it so Mario can run on top of it acrossing the rotating floor
One of the most entertaining TAS videos I've ever seen.
11:43 lol, the means of getting that Star Coin!! I also liked how Mario and Luigi just let the clam shut on them in that pipe right after.
I know very little about TAS speedruns, so little that I assumed TAS's are all bots. Thanks to an earlier comment, I learned that that is NOT the case and therefore, I am AMAZED you put all these inputs in and coordinated everything to work this way! WOW!
That is called human tas
Tool assisted means basically they run the game at 1fps to get the perfect button inputs
Nintendo Expectation:
Reality: *Throwing Everyone off cliffs*
Fluffcake Productions I do that to my brother I throw him off when his batteries disconnect
This game has made me lose more friendships than monopoly.
10:54 fuck that sea urchin in particular
Larry: 9:47
Mario and friends: 9:51
Larry: Incoming 5 years of trauma and psychology
"Is it possible to learn this power?"
No
Is of level 99999999999999999 and we all are level 1
Not from a speedrunner...
They have like 100,000,000 iq at this game I have like 500,000 iq at this
9:51 He should really get terrified..
5:52 Yoshi: I guide others to a treasure I cannot possess
NGL this “Tas” brothers are actually pretty good
