In my opinion, this song sounds x1000 times better with Portnoy. No hate towards Mangini, love him too, it's just my taste.
I like Mangini's version better but am glad Portnoy is playing songs he was not part of writing. Hope to see more of the them in the future and appreciate Portnoy's take on it.
