i've been watching this documentary so many times, but i am not getting tired to repeat it over and over again.. God bless you mr Foreman and your Family..
To beat Fraser like that is nothing but incredible, my god I love Forman. What a man ,what a great role model. He loves America he's the greatest in my mind. I'm just a 45 yr old ex con from Australia. But redemption is something I needed and I rose to the chance and I changed my destructive behaviour and I'm ok now and I love to watch story's of men that overcome big obstacles because bit gives me great hope. Love and respect this man.
George Foreman is my hero in and outside of the ring. His book “God In My Corner” is simply marvelous. He is truly one of a kind. Mr. Foreman. I salute you with both hands. Your beautiful story never gets old.
I saw his biggest fights already and knew he became a very nice well spoken guy later but after this documentary he is now officially my favorite boxer of all time 😀
I love George Foreman's life story and testimony!!! I remember reading about his conversion as a child in a old issue of Ebony Magazine. I've read his memoir and was truly blessed. Glad he is still with us today!!!
I probably wrote it here before that George Foreman gave the two happiest boxing moments ever: When he lost the title against Ali, and when he regained the title against Moorer!
never pushed his religion on people. loved god and loved his fellow human. as an atheist i respect him so much. hes done so much to inspire people and help kids its amazing.
Truly a inspiring story from one of the greatest heavyweight champions of all time. And one of my personal all time favorite boxers ever and might I add one of the greatest boxing commentators ever as well.
Awesome story, I always disliked him for beating Frazier two times. But that was strictly as a Boxing fan, this documentary has given me a new respect for him.
George Foreman was another great boxer, up there with legends such as Ernie Shavers, Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Marvin Hagler, Oscar De La Hoya, Sugar Ray Robinson. George Foreman was a good boxer.
Agreed. He’s a deserved icon as well. BTW Take another look at his last fight with Shannon Briggs...he not only won by any reasonable measure, but he actually got beat in his best outing during his comeback in my humble opinion.
Absolutely 💯, as a boxer Foreman and Ali where amazing. As humans they are a rare breed. Just amazing. To win a fight nobody gave you a chance to win is a feeling not experienced by everyone.
Praise Jesus!! Even Mr foreman realised no matter how physicaly tough you are......you can't defeat Jesus! Blessings brother your testimony is inspiration
What a guy George is, incredibly dangerous when he was a young man, i remember reading about when he lost to Ali he went back to the locker room and everybody thought he went crazy because he said he seen God.
Greatest comeback in sports history . it took like 20 years. not a quarter of a game or a few days. i love the red sox comeback and the patriots comeback but they werent getting punched in the face and it wasnt a game or games...it was 20 years!!!! greatest comeback of all time.
My favorite knockout for all the right reasons. Watch it again. After baiting Moorer in with wild (looking) swinging punches using his left, George brings him to the correct line. But he also throws a tighter right which is well short designed to suck Moorer forward. Then a perfect flicking jab, discombobulating Moorer's balance leaving him essentially defenseless for a right hand that may as well have been a ball on a chain. Look at how relaxed George's arm is straight after the punch lands .... The sweetest scientific knockout in boxing history? Prove me wrong!
If you heard what Moorer said about the knockout , it was the punch before that he was out on his feet ..The last punch helped him to the canvas..What a comeback and what a man
What a lot of people don't realize is that Foreman landed a lot of good, hard, solid punches throughout the fight with Moorer. Those punches wore Moorer down and helped set up the knockout.
To watch George at a dead stand, with one arm, push Holyfield from inside to beyond arms length in an instant is beyond comprehension. All George does is extend his arm and lean into it and all of a sudden Holyfield cant touch him. Amazing.
It's like rocky the movie but true and even better. I wish he was the president of America because all this race division is destroying America and it's men like this that understands and can heal the pain. But I'm a white guy from Australia what do I know. I know I love George he's my hero. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏
This is exactly why when people doubt Mike Tyson against Jake Paul (a fake boxing bum) … I refer to what George did at 45 after 20 years of retirement … And George openly exclaimed in interviews that he wanted nothing to do with Mike….
What a legend ..To do that in the toughest of sports is truly amazing..But i dont agree old george beats young George..That would be like saying old Gorge beats Frazier,Norton,Lyle at their peak etc..No way ..If young george had old george patience and calmness , would anyone have beat him...Then again the greatest would have found a way
In the Zaire fight, the ref says 8, and at 9, George is up, I think the ref should have allowed the fight to resume and IDK why, but George never protested this, maybe he felt KOed, even while standing up. 20:20 Anyway, the comeback was one of the most legendary moments in boxing history. If george hadn't had that 10 year gap in his prime, he could have won, lost and regained the title God knows how many times, 4, 5, 6, who knows.
Wouldn’t have mattered because he executed a losing strategy from the opening bell. Had it gone 15, he wouldn’t have been able to even keep on his feet. His later loss to Jimmy Young in ‘77 showed this.
Tyson wanted no part of even a 40 + George Foreman. They tried to get the fight together. Mike Tyson told Don King I'm not getting in the ring with that animal. Cus Damato always told Mike when he was a kid how great George was and that Tyson style was all wrong for big George. That is a fact!
@@khalilking1 that's just George being nice and respectful that isn't what really happened. George tells different stories all the time but I remember the original story because I was there.
Anyone notice how George when he fought Ali beat the count by 9 but the ref waved him off anyways?… He wasn’t even hit that hard he just looked tired. Strange .
@1:19:54 - "To me, George Foreman is the last great American heavyweight" IMO, Foreman is the LAST great heavyweight. Boxing died when Foreman won. Why? He was old and there was no one left. Long live Big George
Here’s a guy that came from the toughest streets and wins a gold medal, is invited to the White House to meet the President, wins the heavyweight championship, makes a comeback over 40 and wins the title again beating all the odds and the experts. Now if that is not an example of mind over matter I don’t know what is.

This is the best George Foreman documentary I’ve ever seen
George Foreman deserved his own Hollywood movie
Totally.
He still does.
Agreed.
i would call it "a gazillion to 1"
It would be way better than Rocky Balboa!
George Foreman is my hero in and outside of the ring. His book “God In My Corner” is simply marvelous. He is truly one of a kind. Mr. Foreman. I salute you with both hands. Your beautiful story never gets old.
That was sooooooo amazing. I'm 45 and right now that IV finished I'm going for a good jog. What a man, my god I love him.

This is the best documentary ever
George foreman is truly an underrated boxer who learned from his mistakes as a younger man and used it as fuel to support his comeback.
I probably wrote it here before that George Foreman gave the two happiest boxing moments ever: When he lost the title against Ali, and when he regained the title against Moorer!
I just finished reading his spiritual memoir: ‘God in my corner’. What an incredible man!

Awesome story, I always disliked him for beating Frazier two times. But that was strictly as a Boxing fan, this documentary has given me a new respect for him.
Hate? If Frazier got beat twice by him, maybe you hated the wrong boxer!
How you hate a boxer for winning? What he supposed to do? Lose?
The second greatest heavyweight of all time in my opinion. And the single greatest puncher we have seen. His power was incredible.
Who's the first... Jersey Joe walcot... 🤔

George is such a great guy

People may have seen George as a big boy, in his second play through...
What I saw though, was a solid tree trunk...strong and unmovable..!!

Old Foreman to his haters: "Y'all never seen that photo of me benching a cow?"
