- George Foreman suffered only his second professional defeat when he lost to Jimmy Young in a boxing match in Puerto Rico in 1977. In his locker room after the match, George had a deeply religious experience that changed his life forever. Even though George was a top contender to regain the heavyweight title, he retired from boxing, at the age of 28, to serve the Lord. George became an ordained minister and has been preaching at The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ since 1980.

he looks so healthy without any symptoms from boxing unlike so many boxers. he might be the most successful boxer of all time. he was heavyweight champ twice made millions and made even more as a pitchman and is one of the most beloved boxers of all time. he also quit without suffering major damage to his health.

I love this side of Foreman. His bubbly personality is very infectious and full of spirit. For him to reclaim the title back after 10 years out is absolutely incredible. Can't wait to see his new movie.

I praise you Lord Jesus even in my darkest hours! There is power in your name. I’m thankful for you Jesus! Even though I want to give up. I will keep faith. Jesus you give me strength to keep going. Lord please hear my prayers. My sons require so much from me because they are autistic and have problems communicating. Due to them having so many issues in school, I’m now homeschooling them. I’m a single mother. These past two years since covid have been hard on me. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I have heart disease and I suffer from lupus that’s the major reason why I declined the vaccine. I’m waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making enough to make ends meet. Bills are piling up. I’m constantly struggling putting groceries on the table. I feel like a failure. Every month is a struggle, and now that I’m homeschooling my sons my schedule is limited. I’m so discouraged and ashamed. But God is my strength!!! I get harassed and bullied on this app for sharing my testimony and for asking for prayers but prayers are all I NEED. As christians we should have compassion towards one another so please be kind I’m already feeling down. BUT! Even as I struggle! I keep faith in God. He is the God of possible! I HAVE FAITH HE WILL PROVIDE! He has this far. The only point of my testimony is “GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU!” Keep faith no matter what.
