- Learn how to make the Valentine Scarf! This scarf will keep you warm during the cold winter months. With Valentine's Day coming up, I wanted to make this scarf in shades of pink and white. However, you can change up this scarf to be any color combination you would like. This is a one row repeat pattern, making it perfect for beginner crocheters. Enjoy!

Your scarf didn’t look like it had holes, but mine does. This is the Granny Spike Stitch. I’ve only seen the z spike stitch before. Thank you.

It my be your tension, it has to stay the same throughout.

Wonderful tutorial - thank you! Is there a name for this stitch and can it be worked into a matching beanie?
This is called the granny spike stitch. I haven’t tried a beanie, but I’m sure you could always try it out to see if you like it. 😊🧶
@@AmandaCrochetsThank you so much! I tried the stitch for a matching beanie and it worked great 💕🌸💕
@@cj7856 I’m so glad to hear 😊🧶
So what do you do with the cut ends when changing the color
After you cut the ends, you will weave them in between the stitches of your scarf.
