The wedge shape of our rtt is great in windy weather if you point it upwind. And the aluminum hardshell helps a ton. Temp wise we've been to low 20s comfortably but any lower you'll need serious sleeping bags, insulation or a heating device

Are there restrooms near by or do you have to dig a hole?
Restrooms are in the pits/Hammertown area
There are some in hammertown but we brought a pop up pod because there's not a lot of privacy out in the desert
Did you have to pay the entrance fee to get where you camped?
Yes we payed regular tix (40 per person) plus $25 for camping
