I was there the weekend of the 4th. First time I've been to the hammers. It was crowded and super dusty Saturday night. Got lost after leaving chocolate thunder around 11:30 pm. Found a spot to park my camper west of hammer town away from the crowds and dust. Didn't have money for tickets to get in Hammertown. Next year will plan ahead better, my daughter and I just left Fresno CA Saturday at noon to go(kinda last minute we decided to go). Saw a bunch of sweet rigs which makes it hard to choose which one I liked best. Thanks for sharing!
My parents had a 1978 Chinook camper ..in the mid to late 80s ..I always wanted it ..I ended up buying a 1980 Toyota Hunstman in 2005 had a 1981 SR5 at the same time was thinking about the 4x4 swap ..but ended up selling them both ...looks like a capable fun rig you have built..
Hats off to our United States Marines! 🇺🇸 and oh man that Bilstein Unimog! Oh and the cleanest 4 door Tacoma 🤤 7:33 was that a Lexus GX470???? SICK!!! Going to have to google that one and get a longer look.

I liked seeing all the grand cherokee's (ZJ's). I used to have a built one and it was a great rig. Having a unibody adds an extra challenge when you are building them as much as those racers did. Gotta get creative.
Nice toyota chinook i saw it at back door king of the hammers 2024. I was driving a silver 1980 toyota 4x4 with a pirate flag. Hope to see u guys out there for 2025
Beer snobs (I was one when living in MX) will have a difficult time. Even the “craft brew” you might find in a larger area with a brewpub rely more on the novelty than the product. AVOID CARTA BLANCA! Sol and Corona (Familiar) are everywhere: I’ve long suspected they are subsidized by the gubment to keep the masses quelled. Victoria (oldest brewery in MX) is pretty decent. 🍺 Saludos Amigos. *Sotol in Chihuahua and Mezcal in Oaxaca 👍🏽

That was my 1967 Toyota land Cruiser FJ45 pick up with the KC Lites. Look for us racing in the Mint 400 stock class March 10th
