We make them here. They were the only wood sticker on the market for 20 years or so now the patent ran out. But we have a new better design do now other companies can make the old ones and there’s a company that make plastic ones. We also make crossers like that so you get no sticker stain that n your lumber we also do custom orders. That’s why all our soft and beech lumber is cut into 5/4. The logs are bought for super cheap and make into those at a really high return 1 and better 5/4 is made into those stickers We do 4ft. Up to 9ft
My O my am l ever slow.l just realized your bark remover must tear the hell out of the logs and make them look rotten on the outside. I really do like the look of that ambrosia maple. God Bless. 🇨🇦✌️
The logs are always so crooked bumpy narly etc. our debarker doesn’t do a great job. It knocks the dirt off it just really doesn’t do a great job for the type of logs we have. That’s why I’ve never showed it in a video. It is really nice wood tho. We. Try our best Mr Doug I cut what’s sent to me and I really feel I get the most out of it possible lol
@ we have a morbark mobile debarker at this circular mill. It’s just not really made to do the volume of logs. It’s been kinda neglected over the years It’s does fine but could be better. Just needs some work. Because I’ve seen videos of it on RUclips working awesome. Ours just doesn’t work like it should
@@TheWildWestMill I agree from what I can see or what little I can see lol. Maybe each with a helper or trainee would suffice. I was also curious on how often you guys grind your bandsaw wheels. You know, resurface the faces.
@JohnNaturkach They are done once a year. But somtimes more. If we notice the bandsaw blades cracking a bunch. Once one blade cracked 50 times so it was junk. Then the wheel had to be be re surfaced
@ Kinda figured so. The reason why we use to drip diesel fuel just above the guides with scrapers to prevent sawdust wear. Etc. And with the amount of lumber we cut as I mentioned before,we only had to do the wheels every two years or so. But the type of wood you’re cutting would most likely make a difference. Thanks for replying.👍
@JohnNaturkach so for last 25 or 30 years we used diesel fuel. Now there’s a new product called Bio Lube that all the big bandsaw mills are using. So we been using that for the last year
Wow!!!!! Thank you for showing us your mill! All done inside makes good sense, and makes for a better quality product. Does the band saw also feed the interior crew?
That’s why they are pallet logs and there’s no point in cutting lumber The mill has run for over 40 years cutting crap just like this. Must be doing somthing right I’m thinking
I really like those stickers.Every one else has just plain one by ones. I also like the look of the mill too a different one is appreciated. 🇨🇦✌️

Who held the first patent four of these stickers?
@ we did.
The stickers have been redesigned and are better now. But other companies can make the old ones now
Nice seeing other views.
Thanks

Well then I guess I am slow maybe a little stupid if you’re debarker is that bad
@@TheWildWestMillso what kind or type of debarker do you have! .

Just curious. How many millwrights work in the mill?
There’s one for each mill and it’s a full time job lol. There should be 2 for each mill tho

No sir. The bandsaw is in a different building it’s another mill but on same property
Never have seen stickers like you use. What are they made of and why the twisted design?
They are breeze dried sticks. The original lumber drying stick For air and kiln dried lumber leaves no sticker stain
Made out of wood soft maple and beech. 5/4
I hope u guys aren't paying much for that garbage fiber.
