Lovely video and a good reminder to embrace and enjoy each season as it comes. Yesterday it was a cold, wet and gloomy afternoon so I decided to huddle under a blanket and watch TV. By chance, The Secret Garden (1990’s version) was on, and I’d never seen it before. I really enjoyed it!
What a unique idea to read seasonally, to help us lean into each season in more of a psycho emotional way 👍I noted that down. And also to eat seasonally to help the body mind too. Nice reminders on how to be in sync with our natural environment 🌳🌻 thanks Molly. Also, I checked out Passenger clothing, they have good basics. Liking their jumpers, cardi's, jackets & sweats. Anyone tried the waterproof jackets or insulated jackets?

I recently came across your youtube and substack and have just been loving learning about your seasonal and slow approach to life! This is my favorite video so far - LOVE the season focus and gently request more seasonal reading content. I have lots of books on my summer, autumn and winter booklists but not so much for spring. Just added Anne of Green Gables and the Secret Garden to my spring list! Thanks Molly :)
Anne is one of my favorites too! I have been looking to watch A Midsomer Nights Dream in some form or fashion for spring. I also am being impatient to plant my garden, but it’s into May for my last frost date. Happy spring time!✌️💗

Your outdoor surroundings are so beautiful at every season, and you and Skye look so comfortable and peaceful there! I feel the same as you about being outside year round, but find it much harder since losing my dog last summer. I also cook seasonally, using the most local vegetables possible. I agree it's less expensive and tastier, plus it gives me something to look forward to each season. I usually read Travels With Charley by John Steinbeck each summer...may sound crazy, but I love it each time! Thank you for sharing your videos!🥰😊

Right now we live in endless tropical weather which has its upsides and downsides. I really love autumn and winter so I can't wait to one day live in a place with 4 seasons again. Hi Molly! This was a great video 😊 I was wondering what it's like in the Highlands in terms of darkness in the winter? I've thought about making moving to the Highlands a long term goal, but I find the cold and dark really hard to deal with even in England!
@@hippyhighlandliving wow! I thought 5pm in Tasmania, Australia was hard. I grew up on this beautiful, temperate climate island. I miss it a lot, there's nothing like it & living through 4 seasons is healthy for the body I think but the predominantly cool to cold weather was too much for me. After watching Outlander on Netflix I fell in love with the Scotland & hope to do a trip there one day ✈🌎
Really wonderful video, your advice is always spot on. Also, what camera do you use for filming/photography? I’d like to invest in something higher quality than my iPhone and I like the look of your videos/photos

It can be quite difficult. Days start getting dark at 3pm. But I personally enjoy the quiet winter brings and love the snowy hills :)
