I have two like that. I have a set of Jim's Bearings waiting, but can't get outer ring out. Done with Arrma 3200kv motors. Will get a different one next time!
Ok what I did was drilled a couple small holes in the end right where the bearing is and taped it out. Then filled in the holes with hot glue Works like new now. Hopefully this will help you guys, Good luck
@@lufenn I haven't had any of mine fall apart with the outer ring getting stuck. I would try getting a pick set with a 90 degree bend and prying it out from the inside. clamp the motor the best you can before prying. It's not going to be easy and may destroy the motor housing / bearing seat in the process. The motor may even be trashed and not even worth the effort to free it. If horizon won't give you a new motor I would save enough dough to get a nice hobbywing. If you manage to free the outer ring get a set of TBR hybrid bearings for the motor. They are a bit more then the Jims set but much more durable. I'm sorry I didn't have a trick for freeing that outer ring , a set of bearings is much cheaper then a decent new motor.
This engine in my senton arrma is heating up a lot, I run for 5 minutes accelerating hard a few times and it shuts down. Can you tell me which best engine for my esc 120A hobbywing? I think I'm going to go on with threes, but I didn't want the engine to shut down.
Can this 3200kv motor run sefaly on 6s?
You can throw the motor in the freeze for an hour or so , it will make it even easier using your method
I use the freezer method when reinstalling the bearing..slides rite in. I'll have to try in removing also . Great idea !
What about if the bearing blew apart and it just the outer ring?
That's the issue with mine

Same as mine. Cant get it out

help on getting the new one in? I can't get it to seat all the way for the life of me
11mm socket fits perfectly over outer ring on bearing, one or two decent taps with a rubber mallet should seat it
Out of curiosity why would you need to do this ?
If the rotor shaft bearing goes bad or needs to be replaced. The stock firma motor bearings are crap.
This only works if your bearing didn’t break btw
Do you know Wich is the size of the bearing?
5x16x5mm
