Nice Job man!! *this is how it should have been designed from the start. (You’re getting there…) 👍 These three models..(Typhon, Senton, BigRock V3)……lightest to heaviest. All have similar characteristics. All suffer same issues. *pushing the limit, upgrade to max the models out. **Thank you for sharing your adventure….(we have done this, created our solutions)….you are helping everyone, 1 upgrade/adventure at a time. 👍
Put a heavy-duty socket in the front bumper area zip tie it down all four wheels will grip easier that's how I'll remind to this day haven't had any strip gear issues I run it 4S and 6s just recently toned it down 3s yours is ripping out great job with your build
Looks great and much more durable 👍 I’ve just converted mine to a big rock so might cut my Senton body to fit so I can use the platform for both👌🏻 Thanks great video 👍
Yep had a 4s esc as well would keep burning up input diff rear went back to 3s and upgraded the big rock to 4s no issues except rear drive shaft popping out. So upgraded that the alloy. Using the senton original wheels & tires. Wheels like mad added an extra wheelie bar no problem now never flip again. All custom mods for personal use.
The senton is a very durable truck. In my opinion, its one of the strongest 1/10 scale trucks out there. The slash ultimate is decent too so that's a tough choice.
You need the big rock a-arms and turnbuckles. You can use your existing rod ends or get a bag of new ones they're fairly cheap. I apologize it took me so long to respond.
@@jerkdale23 yes you need the longer rods and steering links too. If you get the set of turnbuckles for the big rock it comes with all the longer rods u need. The rod ends are the same so just swap them over.
You’ve come a long way with that Senton, looks like you got it running pretty good! 👍 Nice bash brother!
Thanks bro, it's been a long road and a bunch of money but It's rolling nicely now.
@@soulrebelrc6341 yeah I like that it’s wider and it looks like your able to get triple backflips on that beast now!
@@rcreviews9894 I'm going to keep on it, hopefully it holds up.

New to the channel and new to the hobby with the Senton 3s, looking forward to both!!

I run my typhon 3s on 4s with a 4268 motor and the original composite diffs . I haven't broke anythiny at sll. No driveshafts broke or stripped diffs.

I just installed a hobbywing max8 with a 4268 2600kv motor in my senton. I uploaded the video, it's a beast now.
rad upgrades man looks stable and wheelies look controlable
The diff work helped a lot, very straight wheelies now.
looks so cool with this setup!
Thanks man, definitely one of my favorite rigs to run with this setup.
Great vid. Trying to decide between this one and then slash ultimate. Thinking I’m gonna do Senton and start upgrading immediately.

👍🏼I did the same thing to my Senton with big rock arms about 2 months ago.
What did you have to buy for the conversion
@@jermainemoaney9078 Typhon/BigRock arms and turnbuckles,Granite tires and 15t pinion gear.
Thanks for the part # helps a lot of us 👍
Smaller tires on the big rock and a stainless chassis set keeps it planted will do 70 plus grounded.
Nice bro, that's a fast big rock. Always nice when you can put the power down without flipping.
Looks dope bro!
what spur are you running stock one or steel one?
steel spur
Awesome rig! Could you do a parts list used to complete the wide conversion please🙏🏾? Also what wheels/tires you running? Subbed good sir🤙🏿

Everything else will swap over
I'm running granite wheels and tires. Transforms the truck makes it a wheelie beast. But you have to trim some of the body. Worth it imo.
I bought the big rock arms and turnbuckles but there not working out for me .. what you do different to make it work out for you?
I only needed the a-arms and turnbuckles, everthing else swapped over. What issue are you having ?
Do u buy just the lower big rock arms? Or do u need the top rod too
@@jerkdale23 yes you need the longer rods and steering links too. If you get the set of turnbuckles for the big rock it comes with all the longer rods u need. The rod ends are the same so just swap them over.
Hey, just got the senton a metal diff, does it make it sound different? I don’t know but I’m having some problems with a screeching kinda sound
Did u also install a metal input gear ?
@@soulrebelrc6341 yeah, i just got the prebuilt diff, i got it working now, my slipper just wasnt set
@@Evan-rq2ee That's an easy fix! It definitely sounds different with the metal gears but it's a good sound.
@@soulrebelrc6341 yeah, the metal diff is great, sounds a lot better than plastic
I was literally about to ask how the wider aspect helps on handling and then your senton flips like 2 to 4 times in the road and you go f*** lol
