Love this car Jay! They were actually underrated @ 310 HP, 390lb ft torque. A friend of mine had one in the late 70's & it's the fastest I have ever been in a car. He had the same car racing his buddy in a 73 400 T/A and we were doing just about 150 running from the cops & actually out ran them, scariest thing in my life for sure, in Elk Grove Illinois.
Looks like the eagle is about to strike from the batcave, 🦇🦇thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩
Wow if i were rich i would buy this for nostalgic reasons. I actually owned two back in the day. They were ok fun cars back then and quick for what was produced at that time. However They weren't what i would consider "quality builds", but they were fun and got much attention.
Wow, this is a rare TA, love it.. can't believe someone ordered this with the super duty 455 but didn't get the 4-speed manual..... I had a 74 Trans Am, but in buccaneer red, black interior, 400 & Muncie 4-speed.. I loved that car... & still miss it
If they didn't keep renewing and using the trademark in some fashion then you will lose it. Chrysler has been renewing Cuda for 50 years if the day ever comes when they bring it back.

Drag racers by this point were almost always getting the automatic. And there's also at least one out there with no console and a column shifter! 😀
@@thud9797 For sure!
Holy crap thats gorgeous ❤
You know how Jay loves Oldsmobiles especially the 4-4-2's..... Well I am the same way for Pontiacs.
W😲W, didn't even know they made super duty Trans ams !!!
I like the wheels!
The Blue on Black,..is Aussem!
You have a burned-out reverse bulb on the light left driver side if you don't already know about it.
If that’s a stock cam I’ll eat Jay’s hat.
Nice
Superb😊😊😊!
So I suppose Ford was able to claim the name "Super Duty" for their trucks, even though Pontiac used it first!
