Father/son owned car since new! I just purchased this as part of a 3 car collection. His father bought this car brand new. It has 58,000 actual miles. For sentimental reasons the son wanted it like new, he says he spent $120,000 on restoration!
EXTERIOR: Very cool Vista Roof, also known as a flat top. It is a pillarless hardtop with the totally cool wrap around rear window. I also think the round taillights at the top edge are cool. The body is really impressive. It's absolutely straight, all the gaps are square and flush. There's no rust or damage, it's smooth all the way down to the rockers. The owner was very proud to point out how nice the doors shut, all 4 can be shut with your pinky! Repainted it’s original Shelltone Ivory color and it's polished smooth and glossly. Even the jambs are slick. Weatherstrips were replaced. All the stainless trim is really straight and shiny, all the chrome sparkles. I love the remote mirror way out on the front fender. The glass is all crystal clear including the rear window. It's rolling on radial white wall tires.
INTERIOR: It's practically like new. The seats are firm and completely reupholstered in multi color blue.
The blue carpets look new. The door panels and their trim look new. The dash pad does have some cracking, the instrument panel is beautiful. All the chrome sparkles: knobs, heater controls, original radio etc. The original clear plastic steering wheel is in very good shape. The owner's pouch is in the glove box. Everything works: interior lights, red flashing e-brake light and the radio. The brake and gas pedals even look cool!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original 389 motor runs as smooth as a mouse and slippers. It has a 4 barrel carb and makes 303 horsepower. It's completely stock: manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner, brackets etc. All the components look fresh and proper. The battery is properly secured and has a disconnect switch. It features power steering and brakes. Everything is painted smooth and neatly, new hood insulation. I'd call this a detailed engine compartment.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: This giant trunk is all clean metal painted gloss white. It has the really cool retractable trunk light. New weatherstrip red plaid rubber liner, tire cover and bag for the jack. It has the spare and jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: The rear suspension was rebuilt: shocks, springs and bushings. It has an all stainless steel dual exhaust system. The fuel tank was replaced is shiny. Looking up at the motor it's spotless: starter, fuel pump and flywheel cover look new. The Hydramatic transmission is clean. The drive shaft was rebuilt.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the reverse light bulbs, the float on the fuel sending unit and the battery.
CONCLUSION: This top of the line Pontiac is full of nostalgia and style. It rides like you're on a cloud. This is a very nice car, I think it will be very good to it's new owner!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

Beautiful boat!!! Great lines & classic 60's creative design.
One of the things Jay does best is finding rare and beautiful cars, this Bonneville checks all the boxes for sure.
Wow, haven't seen one of these in many years. What a cool, cool find!
I remember our next door neighbor had a 60 Catalina back in the mid sixties that was white. They took me to school one time and I remember it well.
In 1960 my Dad was in the market for a new vehicle, wanting to replace that old, drab green, 1950 Dodge we had. So as he'd find a vehicle that he liked he'd drive it home and show us what he was thinking about buying. So he shows up in a white, 1960, Bonneville Convertible with red interior. And it was gorgeous! I pleaded with him to buy this vehicle! And my Mother liked it as well. And when he left to take it back to the Dealer we thought that that was the vehicle he was going to buy. I remember being so excited! But a turn of events would take place some where between him returning that beautiful, Bonneville and the actual vehicle he bought. Now, I still love this body style. And the Ventura and the Bonneville look almost identical. But Dad comes home with this drab, brownish/goldish colored, 1960 Ventura 4-Door. And I immediately told him that that wasn't the vehicle "I" wanted, and to take it back and buy the white Bonneville he'd brought to the house earlier. And to my demise he says, "Already bought this one. So get used to it, because we'll have this one for a loooong time." My heart sank! And he didn't lie either! He didn't buy another vehicle to replace the 1960 Ventura until he bought a Brand New, Blue, 1986, Buick Electra, Park Avenue, 4-Door. Which in both cases he'd bought both vehicles for my Mother to drive, because he had a Company Vehicle. My Dad passed and left the Buick to my Mother. And when my Mother passed she left the Buick to me. And there it sits, under the carport still to this day.
Do you get it out and drive it around town at least? 🤔
I may be in the minority but I love 4 doors and station wagons.
Wow! What a beauty 😍
Fabulous car 🚗
My dad looked at a 60 Bonneville 2 door when 11 years old. That car is an incredible TIME CAPSULE
Beautiful car Jay
Yoooooo, I dig this 60
It's beautiful 🌹🌹🌹👍👍👍CAR🌹🌹👍👍Pontiac🌹🌹🌹🌹👍👍👍👍Thank you very much 🌹🌹🌹👍👍👍
Our pleasure! 😊
No weird Acme paint color, no K-Mart fender skirts, no sagging headliner and ragtag torn upholstery. It's what this car doesn't have that really makes it great.
Sleeping beauty from the batcave 🦇, gourgeus car, pontiac bonneville, so rare, super Nice pontiac, thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩
You're correct Jay I think the 4-door Vista is much more stylish than the two doors or the convertibles in my opinion
Sweet

The wide track people !
Very nice car 🚗, even for a more door. 😅
Wow
Is it the wide track?
Yes, all 64 inches of it.
One day…..
Tomorrow day?
Barely fits on the turntable.. lol
Pretty sure we've had tighter fits! 🤪
Old four-door cars like that are dead in the water. Nobody wants them Jay !
I want one but not at that price.
This car is not your average 4-door ugly sedan, this thing is awesome.
