One of my favorite cars, so many cool features inside and out! From the simulated rockets on each side to tinsel in the carpet and stars when you look up at the headliner. Even the emblem designating there’s a tri-power under the hood is cool looking. This Bonneville happens to be in fantastic condition!
EXTERIOR: One year only body, I think it's one of the best from the 50s. It is straight and gits right. No rust or damage. Older paint job shows very well, there are some touch ups. Original two-tone colors are smooth and glossy. All the chrome and trim, and there’s plenty of it, is in great shape. Front and rear windows and gaskets were replaced. The wheels were blasted and painted turquoise on both sides. They are wrapped in radial whitewalls. Accessories include a Continental Kit, fender skirts, dual mirrors, power antenna, deluxe hubcaps, rocker moldings and more.
INTERIOR: I love the interior, they had the mindset that too much was not enough. I'm looking at the dash filled with chrome. Down on the floor it has silver sparkles woven through the carpet, even the brake and gas pedals are fancy. The door panels are so cool I would hang one in my office like artwork. The seats were reupholstered, there is a lift up armrest in the back. The headliner with embossed with stars was replaced. The Wonder Bar radio was rebuilt, there is a modern stereo hooked up. Seat belts were added. Overall unabused very good condition.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely rebuilt, bored, and balanced by Performance Concepts; we have receipts. Originally a 370 making 300 hp, now it's bored and stroked to a 449 and dyno tuned at 351 hp with 465 lbs of torque. New crank, bearings, pistons, rings, cam, lifters, rockers, valves, springs, and a roller timing set. Heads were reground and intake was milled. It features power steering and brakes, electric wipers. Everything looks clean, orderly, and proper. The metal surfaces are painted nicely.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted nicely. It has the cool trunk light that reaches to the front of the car. It is rock solid inside, has correct plaid mat. Painted rim with a new tire for a spare, it has the jack assembly too.
UNDERSIDE: It has new springs and shocks at all 4 corners. Also upgraded with rear air bags with and an on-board electric pump. Swaybar end links were replaced. The dual exhaust has Cherry Bomb mufflers. Looking up at the motor it looks fresh, starter is fresh. The original Hydramatic trans was completely rebuilt. It has its original 1958 tag riveted to it. The rear end had its axle bearings and pinion replaced in 2016. The floors, rockers and frame look rock solid.
So many cool features and designs! Every part has a cool design element, I can't pick my favorite! Each time I look at the car I see something else I like!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

Holy Smokes Jay !
What a GEM ~
What a beauty
Stunning 58 Bonneville, and I couldn't agree more that this is THE top car for 58. As as earlier comment stared, GM was dialed in on design with every model in 58. As for colors, I think that Pontiac had the very best in color options that year too .... (esp their blues) .... Looking at the blue in the rocket ship on this one, I doubt there was ever a sharper blue offered. This is one if those cars that just reaches out and grabs you.Great find, and beautifully restored. This car's a gem.
PS: My favorite feature? The whole car! Seriously ... GM outdid themselves on this model. Every single feature is perfect.
I'm in love with this one 😊❤❤🇦🇺🇦🇺 Gob smacking gorgeous 😊❤
I love that car 🚗 😍
Classic ‘50’s space-age styling ❤
Shades of the ‘58 Impala. I don’t normally like continental kits but this one looks fantastic.
I LOVE THIS CAR. IT IS A CREAM PUFF OF A CAR. IT LOOKS NICER THEN A 58 IMPALA. ALSO LOVE THE EXTENDED REAR CONTINENTAL KIT BUMPER & SKIRTS
Chevy was the introductory car in GM’s line up . Then Pontiac followed buy Oldsmobile,Buick and then Cadillac .

my fav 50's car. the entire '58 GM model line was awesome. i really think at some point they'll take off as their over-the-top style is seen as singularly unique
Agree, way too undervalued
@@michaelreilly1310esq Not for long! 😲
Beats the 58 impala hands down, this is stunning and definitely a great long term investment
Absolutely love this car.. it's like looking at art masterpiece... So much style and character..
Beauty Jay!!! Love all the chrome!
Remarkable. Just remarkable. 👏🏻
A big beautiful car! You don't see them like this anymore.
Just an excellent overview on this magnificent automobile

Pontiac didn't have the first Tri-Power engine, Oldsmobile did in 1957 two weeks before Pontiac released the same set up and officially coined it the Tri-Power.
My favorite Pontiac ever made. What a Gem this one is! 🏆
WOW they don't make like they used to
What a piece of art.
Beautiful Bonneville.. that super chrome interior!
Beautiful Jay!
Love it! First year of the Sport Coupe, second year for the convertible! Better looking that the Impala!!!
Proto muscle with 3 deuces a few years before the auspicious debut of the GTO!
It really is a nice car, I had its cousin, the oldsmobile and it was a four door hardtop. I loved it at first as it was only seven years old when I bought it from the original owner who said he was done with it. I found out why and this car would be no different. Stainless for miles and compound curves to make cleaning and polishing a full two day job to do it right. I got this car with less that five thousand miles on it.. the owner kept his 56 ford crestline with most all the bells and whistles... plus that glass top that covered the front half. Cleaning and polishing was a lot easier on it.
I’d hate to have to parallel park this baby.
That’s too funny but true
Imagine teens today trying to drive this during their drivers ed test. 🤣
@@VoloMuseumAutoSaleslol for sure
With the Continental kit, it's about as long as a Suburban.. only 212" long without..
My Father had a 58 Buick Riviera loaded loved that car ,learned too drive on it . A drunk driver ended up totaling it , the thing saved Dads life because it was built so strong he never got hurt bad .
Sweet one! Rattle is coming from the trunk (I believe)
The Hydra-matic transmission is a four-speed.
Correct, what a great value compared to the Power Glide
@@michaelreilly1310esq So true!
Fantastic car 🚗
👀...🔥👍😍👍🔥
I look at these magnificent beautiful automobiles and wonder where did it all go wrong... Today we drive horrible plastic boring car's and everything pretty much looks the same. If I were king of the world. We'd all have one vehicle which you keep for your entire driving career. I don't believe anyone who chose this car to be their forever car would ever lose the love for it. These elegant ladies are a love affair that never ends. Imagine owning this, driving this everyday, then changing to say a modern Mini Cooper?.... Personally I would chase myself off to the loony bin for immediate help and a big hit of thorazine!!.....This is living breathing art.
Super gorgeous car.
What do you use to convert dollars to U.K. pounds ? Very interested in this and the Green 56 nomad
That is something that would probably be handled by the banks when wiring funds, you tell your bank "I want to wire $X USD" and they'll say "Okay, that would be $X currency".

a 'CREAMPUFF' !
No doubt a beautiful car and color combination but I don’t care for continental kits. Never saw the purpose and felt it was extreme.
But to each their own.
Continental kits really seem to be a you love it or hate it kinda thing. 😜
Lose the continental kit. The car doesn’t need it.
It's the only thing I don't like about the car. Other than that it's perfect.
I love the continental kit! 🤐
@@VoloMuseumAutoSales The many Tbirds you've sold with continental kit's look great. For me this 58 Pontiac would look better without it, stick's-out too much.
HOW MUCH FOR THIS BABY ??
❤❤❤❤ I love this car it is my dream!
