Wonderful review! I like your review style! Your voice is very pleasant to listen to, and you manage to show your enthusiasm without losing focus. I would love to see more reviews from you! How about Azul or Sagrado?
A couple notes... during setup, each player goes clockwise around the table and places one small tree on the outer edge (circles with one leaf) of the board. Also, when you remove a tree from the board; you return it to the top-most available space on your player board. If there aren’t any spaces available on your player board, that tree is removed from the game and returned to the game box.
This is a great review. Succinct, short, but she discusses what type of people would like it and why. Just enough discussion of mechanics without getting bogged down by details. Well done!
Thanks for the great review! My family LOVES to play games so we're always on the hunt for fun new games. I saw a quick description of this game that intrigued me, but your review convinced me...it's our next game!
Thanks for making the point about not having to take the trees apart for storage. That is a huge upside and I might just go get this. The wife and I really enjoyed Jaipur, Lost Cities, Lords of Waterdeep, Azul and Patchwork. Trying to get back into playing and would love to see more game reviews from you. Great stuff
You just won a subscriber! clean, awesome production and really enjoyed your input into reviewing games. REALLY looking forward to more reviews in your channel.
It would be great to see a lets play of the board games too if possible. Even if its a 1 round mock game. Im someone who needs visuals to understand something fully. Hence the only board games ive ever played were snakes&ladders, scrabble & chess lol. But I found this so interesting :)
Just bought this. Have only played one game as a 2 player and it was great! I am an avid game player and this one seems like the cat's meow. It is easy to teach, yet a very deep game. I hope that with more players it doesn't go slow, I could see this have a problem where a slow player with analysis paralysis slows the game down. But, I think it is very good and for experienced players shouldn't go too slow.
Love the way the only aspect of luck involved is being unlucky when your opponent plays well! I can’t figure out the exact sequence of when you do the activities. The youngest goes first, but how about after that?
Great review of the game. I have just recently played this and had a blast, a visual treat. Your video is very clear and easy to follow along with. Keep up the great reviews and can't wait for more!
I second what Watch It Played said! Excellent production quality! :) Great rules explanation and easy to follow. :) Like that you do quick cuts like I do to keep the video fast and concise. :D I look forward to more!
I really like the look of this game, but how do I move trees towards the middle of the board? Can I just put them where I want or are there rules around this aspect?
yes! when you plant a seed, it has to be a certain number of spaces away from one of your original trees. So if it's a small tree, it's one space away, a medium tree the seed can be two spaces, and the large trees you can plant seeds three spaces away!
Not a game that stood the test of time. It just doesn't stay interesting for very long. By game three or four you've discovered all it has to offer. It doesn't have a hook. "Replayable" it is not.
1st the sun Revolves not Evolves. 2nd Seeds have range and can not grow in the shadows 3rd if the space is not available for the size the extra goes back in the box. You must be strategic in buying as well as when to upgrade or you will lose stock. 4th the video was simply put, well.........durpty durpy durp durp fwop...stripy shirt durp.
Great review - really liked the production on your presentation, and enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the game!
I've watched a few rules explanation videos on this game already, and I appreciate the clarity you've provided!
Just got it for Christmas - Cannot wait to try it!

This game was just suggested by a friend, excited to play it! A few suggestions for reviews: Power Grid, Azul, and Carcassonne.

Hi! Is this just as fun to play with 2 players or do you need to be 4 to get the best experience?
Some of my recent favorite board games are Mysterium and Hoax, you should check them out!
Just got this one. It's got a great look!
This really helped me to understand the game we just bought!

Microscope Beauty: seeds can be played “up to” two spaces away from a medium tree and “up to”three spaces away for a large tree.
Great review. Succinct, cheerful and well edited. I'd love to see more board game reviews from you. + 1 Subscriber.
Thank you!
this is so pretty for a board game !
I want to see TI4!

I want to see a review of Settlers of Catan, especially some of the expansion game packs =D Loved the review of Photosynthesis.
Wooooo that looks really complicated
And the "Most Attractive Board Game Reviewer" award goes to.....
1st the sun Revolves not Evolves.
2nd Seeds have range and can not grow in the shadows
3rd if the space is not available for the size the extra goes back in the box. You must be strategic in buying as well as when to upgrade or you will lose stock.

She also missed that trees of the same size don’t shadow each other, or a small one will not shadow a larger one.
Cute! (forget the game) ;-)
