Kimberley Massey i’ve experienced the way the characters on the show treat mickey even though most that he does is good. i act similar to mickey so i think it’s realistic
@DeltroxTv Yeah but he was basically the part of the family already, all of them accepted him, remember when debbie and him got revenge on sammi and when carl went to talk to him and when he went to lip bc of ian and when he went with f to visit ian and when f asked ian in the pool 'where's mickey?', when they went to him bc of ian's illness
Well maybe at the start of the show Mickey was shown as a cruel homophobic person, who wouldn't care for relationships with Ian, bit it's only because of his stupid father. As a character Mickey has grown so much, and he has changed for Ian, he did a coming-out for Ian, he fought his inner homophobia to be happy with the only person he loves (Ian). So, yeah, he and Fiona happen to be my favourite characters at the show. And I also wanted to say that I dislike Lip for being ungrateful to Fiona and rude to Mickey. Thank you. That's it.

I think it’s realistic for Mickey to have been harmful when he was raised in an abusive household and closeted and generally constantly having to protect himself from a crazy wack job father. But I also think it’s realistic for him to grow out of that into a good boyfriend.
I hate how everyone talked about Mickey when he went to jail. I feel like the writers just decided to crap on him to show that Ian “moved on” But the truth is Mickey was the one that finally brought Ian home to his family when he left the army, Mickey was the one that took care of his through his psychotic episodes, he fucking came out for Ian and he went to jail ONLY to revenge sammi for what she did to Ian. Mickey has done nothing but love Ian yet Ian could actually sit there and tell Caleb things about Mickey that made him seem like he was abusive lol but in S5 Ian wanted the “south side trash he fell for” 🤬🤬🤬
I think they tried to put Mickey under bad lights because Noel couldn't play him anymore, but they should've handled the situations better. Even if Noel were to actually leave the show for good, it was clear that Ian and Mickey were soul mates, too late to make Ian fall as hard as that time with anyone else.
I used to take lithium and it warms my heart seeing those scenes of mickey looking out for Ian bc all the things he said, like the no caffeine thing, are super important to watch out for when taking lithium
Really dont appreciate ian acting like he was in a abusive relationship and he barely escaped with his life. Mickey changed. Mickey was becoming a better person; until Ian snapped and said he was gonna break up with Mickey because he wanted old Mickey back. Ian literally kept Mickey trapped as a violent ganger when he wanted to be better.
I think that many people who dislike Mickey and says gallavich is toxic is completely missing the conditions this ship is under. The environment these two grew up in ESPECIALLY Mickey. Mickey was the best boyfriend he could be considering his conditions through all their different stages. The fact that Ian and Mickey are quite literally perfect for each other is a pure coincidence and even though EVERY single element of the show tried to keep them apart they couldn't. Because these two love each other more than anything and is willing to do anything to get it to work. Even be apart only to come back stronger. That is the kind of relationship I think everyone should look for, someone who will love and support you no matter what is going on with them or you.
Mickey is literally the best. He got back into prison for Ian. He came out for Ian. He loved Ian regardless of being bipolar. He broke out of prison and instead leaving the country immediately he was in Chicago trying to take Ian with him.
i feel like the gallagher's perception of mickey is based on when they first met him. when he was a homophobic b*. but after mickey realized his feelings for ian, his ways quickly changed. but the others just cant see that. despite all the things mickey has done for ian, they refuse to accept mickey. in conclusion mickey deserves the world
Mickey : *out here doin the best he can* Ian: come out to your homophobic and violent dad just cuz Mickey: *complies* Ian: Great! Now I will proceed to not like you until further notice Mickey: What?
to be fair, Ian was going through a really terrible time with his bipolar disorder and pushed Mickey away because ya know self destruction but the thing that bothers me MOST is that after he got himself better he just decided to shit entirely on Mickey or just forget him all together. And poor Mickey sat in jail for years thinking about Ian. I think Ian should’ve done more to get right with Mickey instead of just running off him getting his hopes up only to completely devastate him again and ditch him at the border.
THAT.. is the perks of having a bad image... people will always pin u down and never expect anything from you... even if u throw your entire life for somebody. That's why I was so happy when Ian went to his lengths to get mickey back because mickey deserved it.
I know exactly what are you talking about ... Personal experience and all i am thinking is fuck it, only what i think about myself is important there's a video with a title is change really possible about shameless, u can watch it
There were some other minor things too like Mickey helping Ian fight off the army generals(?) when they came to arrest him and being the one to calm him down during that manic episode by showing him there was no one outside. Also when Ian finally called after leaving with Monica and Mickey rushed to pick up the phone once he saw Ian’s name and then ran all the way to Ian’s house straight after
Despite being rough around the edges, Mickey is genuinely one of the most compassionate and loving boyfriends there is. So happy they ended up getting married 😊
Mickey is the best boyfriend. Loyal, caring, loving, devoted, takes the time to bond with Ian's family, he is top tier. Caleb and Trevor cannot compete.
I know im a year late but i just started watching Shameless 2 days ago and im on season 4, but i already know what happens with Gallavich because i watched scenes of them on RUclips. I was kinda holding off watching it for awhile, so i started to watch from the start and for Gallavich. If im being honest, Mickey is probably the only character that has changed for the better. His character development throughout the seasons is probably the best thing to ever happen in Shameless. I love how much he loves Ian and how far he's willing to go to protect him from anything/anyone. Mickey has never loved anyone the way he loves Ian and i think that's one of the many reasons why he's so protective in their relationship. I also love that Noel was only contracted to star in a few episodes in the 1st season but because of his chemistry with Cameron, the writers decided to bring him back as a series regular. That was the best decision they ever made because i honestly can't see Ian with anyone else. Im really glad they were endgame and that they eventually got married.
That extended to the other Gallagher's as well. Debbie and Liam in S5 and it was great seeing him part of the family in s11. Particularly the younger 3.

Yeah but he was basically the part of the family already, all of them accepted him, remember when debbie and him got revenge on sammi and when carl went to talk to him and when he went to lip bc of ian and when he went with f to visit ian and when f asked ian in the pool 'where's mickey?', when they went to him bc of ian's illness
The way Mickey's voice almost break when he was saying, "no fucking way." And "he's family." Made me tear up. He loves Ian so much!
Thank you. That's it.
Yup... Somehow ian is one character that i don't really like, he treated Mickey poorly, thank God in season 7, he repair his attitude with giving all money he had for Mickey, it makes my hate toward him get down a little,
My hate started from season 6 episode 1, i hate the look that Ian gave to Mickey when he visit him in prison with Svetlana, specially when he tells Mickey that Svetlana paid him to acompany her to jail... I stop watching shameless after that, and back again when Mickey around
I cannot stand Fiona
@@ivanasarah5318 Monica had a lot to do with that attitude toward Mickey. look at all that crap she was saying to him at the end of season 5 when she came to visit during his lock up and when he briefly stayed with her

"Mickey Overprotective Milkovich" xD
M.O.M
He's a MOM LMFAOO
He is a dad lol
at the beginning of the show, i would never guess that Mikey and Ian would get married
Same lol
I always hoped theyd be endgame
the most unexpected couple
AND THE HUGS
THEY ARE SO HHRRYYRERFHU
"I definantly love one" is the best line in history.
I think it’s realistic for Mickey to have been harmful when he was raised in an abusive household and closeted and generally constantly having to protect himself from a crazy wack job father. But I also think it’s realistic for him to grow out of that into a good boyfriend.
When you strip away the layers of environment and enculturation, Mickey's is the purest heart. I love him.
I hate how everyone talked about Mickey when he went to jail. I feel like the writers just decided to crap on him to show that Ian “moved on”
But the truth is Mickey was the one that finally brought Ian home to his family when he left the army, Mickey was the one that took care of his through his psychotic episodes, he fucking came out for Ian and he went to jail ONLY to revenge sammi for what she did to Ian.
Mickey has done nothing but love Ian yet Ian could actually sit there and tell Caleb things about Mickey that made him seem like he was abusive lol but in S5 Ian wanted the “south side trash he fell for”
🤬🤬🤬
Yeah, Mickey is the only one who brings the best in Ian
I think they tried to put Mickey under bad lights because Noel couldn't play him anymore, but they should've handled the situations better. Even if Noel were to actually leave the show for good, it was clear that Ian and Mickey were soul mates, too late to make Ian fall as hard as that time with anyone else.
Yes exactlyy! It pisses me off ,he would've done anything for Ian, especially coming from a family who doesn't care about emotions n stuff
@@lidiapizzale4322 excatly. The writers did them dirty at that time
Lets all admit it. Everyone here wants a relationship like Mickey and Ian have.
WHY👏ARE👏THEY👏ALL👏SO👏GODDAMN👏BLIND.
*also at least now he can be the best husband ever*
The guy who played Mickey is the best actor on the show, seen him in other things and he’s never disappointed
Mickey deserves nothing less than the whole entire world
7:58 How can Mickey be an adorable boyfriend and an aggressive boyfriend at the same time
Ian and Mickey are one the most stable relationships in the show
I used to take lithium and it warms my heart seeing those scenes of mickey looking out for Ian bc all the things he said, like the no caffeine thing, are super important to watch out for when taking lithium
Really dont appreciate ian acting like he was in a abusive relationship and he barely escaped with his life. Mickey changed. Mickey was becoming a better person; until Ian snapped and said he was gonna break up with Mickey because he wanted old Mickey back. Ian literally kept Mickey trapped as a violent ganger when he wanted to be better.
at the end, he tells caleb he wasn’t in a abusive relationship
@@Ehjsididud yes it was difficult. it's terrible to even imply that.
He wanted old Mickey. That stuff has to get internalized in Mickey's psyche. Keeping Mickey trapped sounds pretty accurate.
@@tospikodunyasi where did he...............
Jesus christ Ian.
Basically the whole show
Mickey is literally the best. He got back into prison for Ian. He came out for Ian. He loved Ian regardless of being bipolar. He broke out of prison and instead leaving the country immediately he was in Chicago trying to take Ian with him.
i feel like the gallagher's perception of mickey is based on when they first met him. when he was a homophobic b*. but after mickey realized his feelings for ian, his ways quickly changed. but the others just cant see that. despite all the things mickey has done for ian, they refuse to accept mickey. in conclusion mickey deserves the world
Mickey's character development is unlike any other. Not many shows can do it like this.
Mickey said "I love you" to Ian more than Ian said it to Mickey 👏
his soft little “ian” at 1:36 🥺🥺🥺
Mickey : *out here doin the best he can*
Ian: come out to your homophobic and violent dad just cuz
Mickey: *complies*
Ian: Great! Now I will proceed to not like you until further notice
Mickey: What?
to be fair, Ian was going through a really terrible time with his bipolar disorder and pushed Mickey away because ya know self destruction but the thing that bothers me MOST is that after he got himself better he just decided to shit entirely on Mickey or just forget him all together. And poor Mickey sat in jail for years thinking about Ian. I think Ian should’ve done more to get right with Mickey instead of just running off him getting his hopes up only to completely devastate him again and ditch him at the border.

mickey was truly there at ian’s lowest 😔💛
THAT.. is the perks of having a bad image... people will always pin u down and never expect anything from you... even if u throw your entire life for somebody. That's why I was so happy when Ian went to his lengths to get mickey back because mickey deserved it.

There were some other minor things too like Mickey helping Ian fight off the army generals(?) when they came to arrest him and being the one to calm him down during that manic episode by showing him there was no one outside. Also when Ian finally called after leaving with Monica and Mickey rushed to pick up the phone once he saw Ian’s name and then ran all the way to Ian’s house straight after
Let’s not forget the time Mickey came out at the Alibi in front of everybody including his dad for Ian
mickey stay being the superior shameless character
They should invent an entirely new love language for Mickey. The way he shows his concern for Ian is unparalleled. 😂
Ignore all the rude comments, this is great! Mickey has never been a perfect saint/angel, but he also proved all the bad-talking about him dead wrong
Who did that?
“ian what you and i have makes me free, not with these assholes, no.” MY HEART I LITERALLY CANT-
They all underestimated Mickey he’s the best person alive
Despite being rough around the edges, Mickey is genuinely one of the most compassionate and loving boyfriends there is. So happy they ended up getting married 😊
The dislikes are Ian's ex's.
And all the guys Mickey fucked when he was in jail! I know in your mind, Mickey never did that even though he said he did, more than once.
Mickey is the best boyfriend. Loyal, caring, loving, devoted, takes the time to bond with Ian's family, he is top tier. Caleb and Trevor cannot compete.
i love the way he says" i love you"
I know im a year late but i just started watching Shameless 2 days ago and im on season 4, but i already know what happens with Gallavich because i watched scenes of them on RUclips.
Mickey was always tough to everyone else but had such a big soft spot for Ian 😭🥰 adorable
That extended to the other Gallagher's as well. Debbie and Liam in S5 and it was great seeing him part of the family in s11. Particularly the younger 3.
@@mlgZipp yes especially with Franny when he played guns with her for her birthday 😂 he was always so sweet with her

Mickey is hands down the best character
Mickey and Ian and Veronica and Kevin are like the only low key good relationships in the show. But i stan Gallavich
I felt gaslighted when the show tried to retcon their relationship and make it seem like it was toxic and bad for Ian.
Yeah I’m glad they stopped doing that
Not gonna lie I cried when Mickey was first hearing of Ian’s bipolar. Really showed how much he loved Ian when he told Fiona he would look after him. Mickey is such an amazing character

It's Rachellskata PERIODDDT
It's Rachell frr he had the best character development
@@alkorz,yeah I think it made the writers mad that a character that was only supposed to be on a couple episodes became a fan favorite. Everyone fell in love with Mickey.
Through all the seasons I just overlooked how a gr8 bf Mackey had been. How much he loved Ian. And that is so cool.
@7:03 This was the moment when I realized Mickey is way too good for Ian. The trashing of Mickey's character in the following seasons really annoyed the crap out of me. He's one of the most well-developed characters of all television and Noel Fisher plays him with wonderful nuance.
So in conclusion, they are way too good for each other
“No I’m not having fun I spent the whole day lookin for your coked out áss” 😂😂
