- Showing off some clips of the XHP Stage 3 transmission tune! You can see how the transmission acts In the different modes as well as full throttle. It’s lightning fast for not being a dual-clutch. Definitely worth the money! If you guys are interested I can post up a review of it all.

F22 M240i is so much beautiful, especially with Sunset Orange paint ; the gear box is an excellent one, the car is not too heavy, we have leather inside (and wood or metal), we have four places, the car's price is "cheaper" compared to a 4 Serie, and damn this engine... THIS ENGINE !
It is built to be upgrated !
XDrive is a very important option to control the power, so this version is much more efficient than a pure RWD.
You have a GREAT car my friend, never forger it ! The new one is too ugly...
When we know what this car can become with stage 2 or 3, there is no reason to dream about more expensives and mechanical weak cars.

Not wrapped, it’s actually the M performance steering wheel spec added on when the car was built
Hi bro my b58 drives 50kmh in 7 gear and 80kmh in 8 gear for my feeling it shifts wayyy to quik. Im on mhd now stg1-2-2+ all the same makes no difference and i run xhp stg3. You know how to solve the to fast shifts because i drive almost under 1k rpm at 50-60KMH
Hey man I’m not sure that’s super strange, if I were you I’d try reflashing your trans tune again and see if that fixes the issue. Also, is it shifting too early in comfort & sport?

That’s sick man! As long as it has maintenance records and looks well maintained inside and out I think you’ll be just fine, I have some friends with 100k+ miles running stage 2 with no problems💪🏼

How do the low speed shifts sound from outside? Just got a 440i and after coming from a DSG the shifts are silent.. Hoping xHp is the answer
I came from a DSG too actually! Once you get xhp loaded up it almost feels just as fast so I definitely recommend it. Although it only has the dsg brap cruising in sport, otherwise at low speeds it isn’t as aggressive

What do you like more for daily? Stage 2 or 3 on xhp?
I actually prefer running stage 3 daily because it helps with the 1st gear low rpm clunkiness and doesn’t feel too aggressive in comfort
@@Broke-Media on mine (540i xdrive) it feels kinda aggresive in sport+ and i dont get the upshift farts anymore, idk why, but the upshift farts are way more present with stage 2

what is your burble setting? I like the fart immediately after your go of the throttle, not a pops and bangs type of guy.
Soft burbles for 1.2 seconds from 2k-5k with braaap on!

Default stage 3 settings, I haven’t messed with it much since I already like how it feels
Are the downshifts with xhp faster than the OEM?

I also have the m240i with mhd and struggling if it’s worth to spend around 400€ to buy the xhp.
@@flashback5005 I mean it’s really nice and feels smoother than OEM but I don’t track my car or record times or anything so sometimes I forget I even have it. You could definitely survive without it but if you record your times or just want to improve the feel and responsiveness of your car then I’d get it for sure

Delete cold start delay..you don’t need it since you don’t have any catalytic converters to heat up..

Dang man you really think it’s worth it for the cost? I was considering getting one but haven’t looked into it that much. What one do you have?
It is 1 million percent worth it bro. I got the m performance plated diff it is f*king insane. The "searchy" character when flooring it on low speeds is gone. With the open diff you have little possible driver input to straighten the car (as one wheel is spinning more than the other...), with the LSD you just give it a small correction at the wheel and you are aiming it straight with much more traction and way less spin. Driving fast on mountain roads or curvy roads is also so much more confidence inspiring as it keeps gripping much more while accelerating in a corner. Only thing you need to re-learn is that WHEN it loses traction you need to be confident and counter-steer (it feels more hardcore) but when you gain that confidence you actually gonna start oversteering/drifting on purpose when you got the space for it lol.
Basically, a limited slip diff starts spinning the wheels (wheel in case of the open diff lol) on a much later time due to the massively improved traction, so WHEN it does you are going on a much higher speed already than you would've been on the open diff making it maybe a bit scary, however because the much better feedback of the rear if you learn it properly you can control it way better and it feels natural.
You can try out with DSC fully off with the open diff in a private parking lot or industrial area or whatever to drift a roundabout or do some donuts, and then do the same thing with the LSD you're going to see how frickin easy and addictive it is. Gaining control over your car and it actually doing what you want it to do is exactly what you want with a higher power RWD right.
It is a lot of money you'd think and it is I guess, but this transforms the car completely and closes the gap a lot compared to a full blown M car.
I'm on mhd st2+ E40 also with xhp stg3 on an m140i so probably a pretty good reference for you.
@@zdx197 that’s sick man, that was super helpful. I’ve driven M’s with the LSD and it definitely feels better when drifting but I didn’t think about the differences / benefits it has in other areas. Guess I got another part I have to add to the list😂 Also, I’m jealous of your guys M140i’s those things look awesome.

Never tested it with a draggy but it’s somewhere in the 3’s since it’s rwd. I know the x drive is low 3’s / high 2’s with the right setup

@@AmsterdamSam You can’t go wrong either way imo. Rwd is a blast. But if you know you’re gonna go to winter motorsports twice a year then the xdrive might be worth it. Also if the state you lives in snows pretty often during the winter it’s also a good investment. Otherwise I think you’d be happy with a rwd and save that $4k towards car parts
@@AmsterdamSam there’s also some xdrive fun to be had with the hard launches, and if you deal with snow the xdrive can still be plenty drifty. I have a video on my channel sliding my xdrive in snow
