No offense taken Linda on the comment, you are right, we in the US should use metric, I do with my projects. As always your link is super, the two look like leaves on either side of the washer with the bead in the center. Your necklace is coming along beautifully, for sure no other the same. Thank you Linda, be well ⛓️♥️
You're so kind Consuelo, it's lovely to hear you're using metric too! Thanks so much for the compliment on my work, I appreciate it! Have an awesome day!
Hello there, Kathy from Cali!😃 So very nice to meet you, I think you may very well be the first person to refer to themself as a "student" 👩🎓I love it! I hope you will join the free private facebook group, where you can post pics of your work, ask questions and get added support if you need extra help! ☺
You've done it again and also out done yourself! This link is magnificent, and it looks oh so beautiful in the chain you are building! Thank you for sharing, also don't worry about the inches, we Americans should be able to figure it out!!!! Hopefully!!!😂🤭😏😬
Thanks so much Cathy, I love this link and I think it adds so much and could be used in many different projects, ie as a bracelet focal? you have a great week also!
At least we have rulers that have the break down. I find I use mm & cm more often with jewelry making, seems easier sometimes, inches with paper crafting. I feel the same way when measurements are in ml instead of oz or spoons, lol! Nice link, will have to make some. Thank you :)
Hi Ann, I know I shouldn't have mentioned the whole imperial/metric thing, it was out of my mouth before I knew it! If i had known how to edit it out I would have! lol I'm glad you liked the link! have a happy day!
@@GumnutLaneJewellery It is fine you let it out, we are all human and it is good to have that in videos, so many try to be just so perfect. Mistakes, however they happen, lol, are useful :)
@@AnnHopy LOL Ann, I am as far from perfect as you will ever get when it comes to making a tutorial! Plus, I am human and Australian, us Aussies have a natural way of just saying what's on our minds, sometimes to our detriment! Yikes!🙄🤭
This is not a dig on you, as I am learning to use the metric system (it is far more accurate). But, the US isn't the only one using the imperial measurement system, Myanmar, and Libia also use it. Thanks for the video, I hope you are well and safe and having a good week. 😊 🤗
Thanks Deb, I'm not sure what I would price it at, as I don't sell my jewellery! I will have to start selling it soon as I am running out of storage space! LOL I know there are tutorials out there on how to price it, if that helps!? Have a creative day!
@@GumnutLaneJewelleryI wouldn't worry about complaints. If you use the metric system when making your jewelery, then use it in your videos. Metric rulers are available in the US😊 People will adjust.
@@GumnutLaneJewellery Yes, I did. I got the notification so tuned in. That's one great chunky link!!! Looks magnificent with all the other links of your chain. Thank you Linda!
I hear you on the work area. I can never keep mine tidy. I just like to have everything at hand but then I can't find anything! 😕 Thanks for another great chain link. 😊📿🫶🏻♥️
Love it yeah just use metrics we'll figure it out thanks for sharing 💕🥰
I hear ya Betty, but I’ve got a lot of people who prefer imperial! 😉and you're welcome!
😂😂 conversion is very confusing just like anything not normal in your life😂😂 Thank you for the tutorial it was lovely
You're welcome Diana! I am glad you enjoyed it!
This is beautiful, classic yet super modern. ❤ Thank you for sharing, idk if I would have ever tried that or figured it out.
Thanks Cheryl, it's one of my favourite links to make.!

Thanks for the love and encouragement, I appreciate it!
Hi, don’t worry about inches, we can look it up or ask Siri if we want to know! Millimeters are easier and more accurate anyway. Thanks for the video.
Very nice. Love the look of the component with the chain. Thanks for sharing.☺
You are so welcome Cheryl! I'll be posting a pic in the facebook group, if you want to see the end result!
Linda that link is so beautiful when it got added in the necklace just WOW! Love your work thank you for sharing enjoy your week.🌼

Use metric. Most jewelry makers in the US use both and know the basic conversions.
Thanks Cindy, I'll give it a go and see what the response is! Have a fab day!
Great idea's, thank you again 💜 😊
You are so welcome, I'm glad you liked them! have a happy day!
I switched over to metric who I joined the jewelry making world.
Yes Gayle, that makes a lot of sense to me, especially when most beading components are made in metric countries!

Awesome link, Linda!! Curious what you would price that necklace at….

I don't mind metric. Our rulers have metric, too, so it shouldn't be too difficult for anyone here in the states to use metric.
Just use metrics. We in the U.S. can figure it out. 👍👍
Thanks Shell, but if I did that I would get complaints, it happened when I first started my channel!
👍🏻👍🏻

Which tutorial do you show how to use a drill to coil the wire?
Haha, I'm always in a state of organised chaos when I'm creating! I feel ya! 😄
I'm not sure, but it would be in my chain links playlist!
