This stone is one of my most favorite. You take whatever time you need to be with your daughter and for yourself. We will miss you but we will be here when you return. So tell me what happened to your apatite in the tumbler, I've only had one mishap with mine, since then it;s been fine, I thought I must have just got a bad strand. Thank you for understanding about feeling overwhelmed, it just creeps up on you! Have a wonderful Christmas and see you soon!
@ it fractured - broken beads came out of the tumbler. Not all, but enough. It’s a Mohs harness of 5, so too soft to tumble. Bad me for not checking. Now I put a gemstone bead of each strand I want to use on a wire and tumble for 30-45 min to make sure they will be ok. I don’t tumble stones with a mohs of less than 7 - just do all the components, then put it together.
Very nice chunky link Linda! Thinking of using this in a bracelet. Xmas earrings didn't turn out well, but will continue to work on the design. Please relax and put you first!
