Finally, someone else using Toadette. I used her for my whole 3 playthroughs. Never switched characters. Toadette is my favorite Mario character in the whole franchise.
Daisy's veen my main everywhere... But recently I've been using Toadette a lot more because of her energetic buh-bye! at the end of the level that made me like her that much more lol
is it possible to bring powerups into the badge challenges with modding or is the powerup removal hardcoded? You might be able to go under the bricks in the first dolphin kick challenge with the drill, and of course fly over every single gap with the bubble flower
Yes you can I’ve done before when I realized that a spin wall jump(or maybe a regular wall jump) give I think slightly more height then a regular wall kick and so you mix that with two twirles and with precise timing(or just spamming the twirl button) you will get infinite height, it’s just a little difficult. Think of it as if you had the parachute badge and gaining height with it.

Parachute cap 2 is theoretically possible with normal characters as ive heard that one sided wall jumps are possible badgeless although they are so hard that ive never seen footage of it being done to gain significant height crouching high jump 1 is also possible without yoshi
I'm skeptical you would be able to scale over walls. It's only only barely possible with Jet Run which has increased air speed, and the final walljump to get on the floor is incredibly tricky. If you can get height without badges, seems doubtable it could actually reach the floor.

There's probably more modding shenanigans you can do to bring powerups but in this particular mod they couldn't be brought in
