Hello Gotti Trend, Thank you for watching our videos, I am using DAP Contact Cement Glue, you can get it from Lowe's or Home Depot, when we put the glue in the container that we will be using, we keep the top off the container for about 2 days, to allow the glue to age, this will make the glue stick better. Hey Mr. Porter I have a question, I have a friend who want me to put some motorcycle patches on a leather jacket sleeves and I waS wondering how to go about doing that because the sleeves will be to hard to do by a sewing machine. Do you think contact cement will make it to stiff to move. Can you give me some suggestion it over 10 patches, thanks.
Hello Shay, I personal stay away from jobs like this, The number reason is if you put the patches on the jacket and the customer do not like something about, you have a major problem, I have learn that it is easy to turn it down than to have to deal with a problem, second thing is,to do sleeves, you need a long arm machine with a 360 degree rotating head, I would stay way from these type of jobs.
