Do a walk around inside the pool and get all the silt and dirt to the center of the pool. It helps with the cleaning

Does this also help with floating green algae in the intex pools? Or would you recommend another vaccum cleaner for that?
The vacuum should be ok. Particulate matter is harder to catch so that’s why I used the sock.
We did have green algae in the bottom but it wasn’t “floating.” So, it’s a long process and it sounds like you need chlorine or bromine.
Maybe go to the Clorox website and see how much liquid bleach to add to your pool based on the number of gallons. They have that information there. I’d say you need chlorine or a bag of Clorox granulated spa shock for small pools but this may be hard to get balanced. liquid bleach by tablespoon may be easier 😛
As you battle the algae, you have to vacuum and let the sediment settle and vacuum again. If it’s too much, you may want to drain the water, scrub down your pool and refill with clean and the right amount of chlorine.

Paper towel should work too, right?
Tried paper towels and coffee filters first. Did not do too well. Something thick and absorbent: shop towel, cup towel, handkerchief, that has some traction should work. As long as you don’t take someone’s favorite socks it should be ok?

I just bought this and the pole that screws into the body, won’t screw in. It looks like the screw that holds the thing together, stops the pole from screwing into the unit. Am I missing something???
If you see the video at 1:42, it just screws in easily. There should not be anything blocking it. If it’s not doing that then something may be faulty? We did not have any issue with that. If it does not work, you may want to return it and get another one.

Will this have enough power to pick up 3/4th chipped stone's?
Depends on how many I guess but it should be able to pick small gravel. It picks up sand, leaves and sticks. We have tested other vacuums in our channel too which are more powerful than this. If you have a lot of stones I would say may be get a bigger one?
Ok, thanks for the quick response. My daughter threw out a couple of hundred small chipped stones in my 18ft round pool when I opened it this year. And I'm trying to find a solution how to get these out without ruining my liner. Was going to try my shopvac but kinda of scared of getting shocked, lol. Now looking at pool vacs hoping something has enough power to suck them up.
@@paulsefickjr9780 a couple of hundred thrown in one time it will likely do.
Kokido Xtrovac 210 should do it without the sock filter on - the cone filter is small but the suction is really good; so, you’ll have to keep emptying it. You might ask the folks at Kokido. But if you just keep emptying the cone filter every 5-10 minutes I think it will do it.
The Telsa 5 you asked about or it’s updated brother the Kokido xtrovac 110 will also do it but you’ll have to empty a lot for big chunks and you can’t see when it’s full like with the Xtrovac210.
It also does sand well with the filtration sock.
@EclecticIdeas the 410 is just 10.00 more then the 210 right now. At 129.00
@@paulsefickjr9780 the 410 is great - lotta suction for soft debris but it has a propeller and I’m not sure how the propeller will handle stone shrapnel. For small pebbles it should be okay. For leaves and sticks it’s great but not for sand.
Stones I can’t say. If you get that one let us know how it works on pebbles. The 210 - I think it’s good, too.
I'm very unhappy with this purchase. It don't even turn on and make noise after charged and fresh out the box
This was our first vacuum few years ago and it worked well for us. If it does not work you should return it and get another one. I think there is an upgraded version of this from 2024.
The newer one is the Xtrovac 110.
How can I get it and cost?
They have a newer model XTROVAC 110 Rechargeable Cordless Pool Vacuum (2024 Upgrade). I am not sure if they still sell the one that we showed in the video. We will be posting the video for the 2024 version this week.
