@@PeterCheung-qx2si 新加坡不是美国的盟国，不会为美国出兵；美国需要一个供给基地；新加坡基地只提供补给；美军不驻扎。如果新加坡不提供补给，美国将转向附近其他国家。新加坡有足够能力不被美国指使，其他国家就不好说了。再说，美军出现在这个区域是有稳定作用的。
解放以前，在福建，潮州，汕頭的海外謀生的華僑在當地賺了錢，就會通過僑匯將錢寄給在大陸的家鄉親人。當時的僑匯，僑批，都非常可靠的。從不會滙不到的。而且都很準時。信用度真的太高了。

新加坡能发展这么快的原因就是政客的眼光，几年前读李光耀先生自传的时候，就看到他在80年代改革开放初期就预言到了现在的中国，虽然新加坡政策左左右右，但是这也是小国在国际地位的尴尬之处，我见过很多国际关于很多中国独到且正面的分析，几乎都出自新加坡的高级官员。。
这些人才不是政客，是政治家，政客是指类似尾国那些无脑官员，是贬义词
他们领导原本就是中国人，对中国有更深刻的理解，尤其是新加坡基本都是偏客观的，而西方则是对中国有着偏见，东南亚则是害怕身边有一个庞然大物。
政客 此言差矣， 老李是政治家不是下贱的 政客 注意言词
新加坡模式帮助了中国改革开放

全世界人民都是政治的工具，絕大部分人民都接收不到全面和正確的信息。每個國家、新聞機構、以至個人都有主觀的既定立場。因此知道真相、或會去尋求真相的人并不多。

真的要好好聽一下新加坡前內閣的部長說話。李光耀時代，國家最好的人才都在從政。因為那時國家剛獨立，情勢紊亂，頂尖人才都很深刻的體會，國家的治理與他們的命運休憩與共，很願意出來從政，同時李光耀求才若渴，才有這種夢幻隊伍創造了新加坡奇蹟。
中国古代【士农工商】的等阶排序还是有道理的，士：最聪明的人就应该去从政为国家出力，农：开垦田地缴纳粮税保证国家军队，工：建设国家修筑国土，商：趋利避害唯利是图，天下熙熙皆为利来，天下攘攘皆为利往，一切为了利益！！！而当今美国很大程度是商人当政，一切都从利益出发，很少有真正的政客了，也很难为国家的利益可付出了~
杨荣文就是因为敌不过新进人才，只好成为中国说客。他被逼出政坛之后，行动党并没有给他任何职位。

Singapore, the little red dot, really impressed me with many outstanding leaders to lead Songapore to become oasis among its hostile region of Malay Muslim world bending on to sudduce Songapore. Or in the of the rivalry between the up and rising China and world hegemon US. Singapore is in a hard place and have to tick toe carefully to get the best of the two sides and not to be squashed in the process. This would require brilliant statesmanship which Lee Kwang Yiew and which many of the newer Singapore leaders toblearn and practise in order as a red dot or prawn in the hostile and ever changing ocean it is situate at. Good luck to Singapore.
Singapore had 75% chinese population. In the past most chinese in the region countries were killed by their anti- chinese political leaders becos chinese were smaller minority group and richer. Example Indonesia, Philippines & etc.

@OKEN1117 虽然新加坡和美国的关系一直都很友好，美国也曾经尝试在新加坡偷搞民主运动。在1980年代中期，美国买通了新加坡了新加坡的副检察长 Francis Seow，赞助他参加竞选和新加坡的 PAP 对抗，并给他承诺事情如果败露，美国将会给予他所有的帮助包挂让他移民到美国等等。结果他不但没被选上，还被政府告上法庭。新加坡政府公开了这件事还严厉的公开指责美国为幕后黑手。美国自知理亏，不敢出声。后来估计新加坡也不想把事情闹大，和美国达成协议，Francis Seow 移民美国最终死在了美国。
是我的理解有问题？视频内容完全看不出标题所呈现的意思。而且他对中华文化所知也并不丰富
