385 miles of range is very impressive. I get approximately 300 miles out of my Austin TX built '24 Model Y dual motor. My Model Y came with 19" Pirelli Scorpion tires. My rear glass is only single pane instead of the dual pane you have in your Model Y. There are so many aftermarket options you can purchase for a Model Y.
do you test the range driving only in the city and other in the highway at120 km/h?

The standard range model Y is also made in German. There are no Chinese model Y in Europe now, no new model Y. They are all out of Berlin. Berlin makes only model Y’s. They don’t make other models

Its a lot of china Y SR in Danmark now.
from the first minutes of the video, I would have expected a version with jeans fabric seats... I'm joking of course. Thank you for this review full of interesting and useful data. aesthetically they should be more daring to attract attention, in my opinion all that is missing is a decisive restyling to make it the best electric car

Does the Tesla model Y have a 220V a/c outlet where I can use to power electric tools in my garage? Also to change my e-bike battery? The garage in my apartment does not have any electrical outlets, so that feature would be very useful.

Please Could you comment on your experience with RWD in Swiss winters? I live in southern Germany and struggle between RWD and AWD (LR each).
If you need more power go with awd but if power is not a problem rwd lr is just fine … range is just around 40 km difference

Looking at everyday driving, charging up to 80% gives us the same range as Tesla Y LFP ;).

Not sure but i have read this : Yes, the 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD Long Range is equipped with the Hardware 4 (HW4) suite. This includes a new set of sensors and an updated Full Self-Driving (FSD) computer, which enhances the vehicle’s autonomous driving capabilities12. The HW4 update started rolling out in Tesla vehicles produced from May 20231, and it has been implemented in the Model Y vehicles2. This hardware upgrade is part of Tesla’s continuous improvements to their vehicle lineup, aiming to push the envelope further in terms of autonomous driving technology

Interesting that on this long range car, they deleted the fog lights like they do for the standard range car. Not sure that it makes sense to decontent the car
This car would suit perfectly my needs but the only reason why I'll wait the Juniper version is to have the ventilated seats because I don't want the sweaty sticky back in summer on these current seats...
While ventilated seats would be nice, I haven't found the current seats to be bad in the heat, and we've already seen temps hit 35C here in Oklahoma City. The Juniper will be missing the steering wheel stalks which would be a deal breaker for me.
@@mowcowbell The sweaty seats are a no go for me. Regarding the stalks, I agree 100%. That's why if they proceed with this stupid move, I'll order the S3xy knob where you can at least select the "gear" on the know that you install beside the cupholder.
Mercedes eqs suv has a longer range but it is so much more expensive then the model y
US version which is now launched comes with lesser speakers and sub-woofer and no fog lights.

The LR RWD have HW3 and not HW4. And the WLTP on the LR AWD are not 565 km, but 533 km. Then it has no fog lights like the LR AWD😊

Are the camera lenses "red" for HW4?
Hi, you don't say the power of motor and its torque.. Definitely it's not the same rear motor than awd or standard range..
As far as I know it is the same, but with SR the LFP-battety has too less power for the full power of the motor
It have 340 horsepower and same battery than the dual motor
