I love this conversation. I’m a Type A personality as well, Dr. Steph. And I’ve been told before that “I need to just chill,” but I feel if I’m too much, go find less. If you think I’m too much maybe it’s because you’re not doing enough! I would love as the culture says now, be in my feminine. But until like you mentioned, an equally yoked man makes me feel safe and secure and I can submit and allow him to lead, it’s hard to not be in my masculine.

I agree with Lady Steph when she said it gets tiresome, having to always be in control. Could the household still operate accordingly if I got sick. I was married to such a man. I'd leave him sitting on the couch when I left for work, and he was still sitting there when I came back in. I'm like, dude, you couldn't have started dinner?
