    • @furikakez
      @furikakez 4 года назад +2

      You can't see how it was seasoned but if it has some soup stock in it, then it's called "dashi maki tamago"
      Dashi means something like soup stock, maki means literally to roll, and tamago is egg. So it is a soup flavored rolled egg.

    • @dancorkery2776
      @dancorkery2776 4 года назад +1

      It's not a hibachi. It's called a teppan. A hibachi is like an iron BBQ grill that uses charcoal and the food is cooked on a slotted grill over fire. The hibachi has been around for thousands of years. The griddle (teppen) style of cooking in this video is something that came into existence and became popular after WWll.

      Eggs are pretty much common in japan,maybe it says hard because it was cook in a flat surface like the second omelette

      I mean clickbait, but also there is a lot of skill into this actually, most people overcook eggs without knowing it , he with such perfect timing is able to cook the eggs to a point where it's at its peak which is very hard to do

      the word omlette as used by japanese is simply fried eggs in english. the english word omlette means adding things to said fried egg while cooking it.
