    I cook my ground beef like this a lot but we like a type of pie crust for the top. I think this biscuit recipe could be adapted as a thinner sheet crust by not doing more than 2 layers maybe but this does look so good

    That’s funny I’ve never seen anyone else cook their ground beef that way before and the one thing that you should also mention is by cooking it like that helps melt any fat in the ground beef and will allow you to fully brown the ground beef because a lot of people think ground beef is fully cooked when it looks gray(yuck!) I enjoy making a beefy ❤gravy in the same way! Must be a Canadian thing(by the way I hope you know how incredibly blessed you are to have beef grown on your own farm!!! I’m a new subscriber, I didn’t realize you were a fellow Canadian when I began watching you, I make biscuits exactly the same way and they are delicious! I’ll be looking to purchase your cookbook, God Bless. 🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦🍁

    Awesome! I've been doing this with chicken pot pie every since I found you and bought the For the Love of Sourdough book. I make these biscuits at least twice a month. They are a family favorite.

    I cook my ground beef from frozen sometimes but I just put it on low and place a lid on the skillet. Check it often. The steam helps it thaw.
