I bought this yesterday at Costco and my husband found your video today! We are even more excited to use this piece of equipment. Thank you for showing the versatility!
Been using a FT1 for years now and I absolutely love it. You showed a few new exercises I haven't tried yet, which I really like. This machine offers so many different exercises, in a relatively compact space, that there's really no need for any other equipment.
Nicely done Vin. I bought one at Costco and couldn't be happier with it. It took me 2h16m to assemble it. The assembly is absolutely intuitive and if you need the manual it is well written. The quality of the trainer is outstanding. Significantly better than many that I have used in gyms. Smooth, well constructed, no cheap cost saving junk. Even the bench is quality. It sits in my garage taking up no space at all. I still park in front of it and can walk around it. I have been using similar trainers in gyms for years but, I keep finding new workout routines that I never thought of or could do because one the limitations of other trainers. This one is limitless. If you are looking for other presentations to do, I would be interested in what exorcizes you do by muscle groupings. I'm always looking for new things to improve my work outs. Thank you!
I spent a month looking for the perfect home gym, I almost went with the Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE Home Gym. I went and tested it out and wasn't super excited about it then came across your video by accident thought everything you had to say was great, so I decided to get the Inspire FTX Functional Trainer. I was fortunate enough to find a company on OC Craig's List that buys bulk gym equipment from Costco and other places and gives great deals. I got it delivered, and setup new out of the box with heavy duty gym matting for the garage for $1,427 so I was really happy about that. The best thing though is I have tried about half of your demos and the machine is really nice and of great quality. For the price-point it is an awesome small home gym. Thank You for your video it is greatly appreciated, looking forward to doing all of them and getting back in shape and where I was before the VID. Thank Again Vinh!
Hello! I wanted to post up now that I've purchased one of these. First, your video was very helpful to my decision making process. Second, I have ZERO buyers remorse about this incredible machine. From ease of assembly to functionality, this machine is a MUST BUY that I absolutely love! One thing that most people haven't done that we did was put it in our 2nd floor home gym space. I carried all of the parts/components upstairs solo. Was it heavy, kinda, but not too bad at all. Once assembled, it's solid as a rock! I would easily recommend this to anyone needing a diverse piece of equipment. Even with the 2:1 weight ratio in the pulley system, I've not come more than about 60% of the way to the full weight of the stack and I'm strong. So there's plenty of weight to use! Smooth as butter too!!! Thanks for helping me conclude that this was the right machine for our needs!!

You just got a new subscriber! This video was amazing and it helped a lot of people based on the comments. Inspire Fitness should send you the FT1 to review because you definitely increased their sales!! I was trying to decide between the FT1 and the FTX. The store that I was looking to buy from had the FT1 for $2600 and the FTX for $1900. Thankfully, I came across your video while doing my research only to find out that Costco has the FTX, bench and 1 year subscription for $1300. You helped me make my decision!!! Of course, the FT1 is better but I can’t justify paying an extra $1300 just to get a straight bar, ankle strap and sport handle and no bench or subscription. I can’t thank you enough and I look forward to seeing more great videos from you!
Thank you Tina!! Glad I was able to help influence your decision! It would be super nice if inspire did send me some new equipment haha. Thank you for subscribing and there will be definitely more videos of this equipment
Love the review, thanks man. I just ordered this from Costco for my home gym set up. I got it for ~ $1400 after tax, but it comes with free shipping and delivery. I have the same exact bench as you too, Rep AB-5100. Easily one of the best benches for home gyms IMO.
Rep definitely has very high quality benches and very competitive prices! Especially compared to Rogue! My friends have Rogue benches which are very expensive but I like my Rep ones better!
Costco Actually Has The FTX for $1100. It is a fantastic machine for the $. Does not take up a lot of space and is perfect for my wife and myself. We are in our 50's and do not need the extreme machines, the FTX allows us to keep fit at home at our leisure. Nice product
Great video showing why a cable functional trainer is so great. I went with the XMark because I wanted more space between the pulley trollies. Without a doubt, when I added my functional trainer to my comprehensive home gym, I added the most effective and safe piece of equipment I've ever used, better than barbells and dumbbells. Selectorized stacks with adjustable cables take the "chore" factor out of lifting. It's easy for even beginners to work through an effective routine due to the initial low weight.
You mightve just convinced me to pull the trigger and get this! Was debating for a while to stick to building a pulley attachment but knowing I can stack both sides on a lat pull down & even work my hamstrings.. Got me. Great review.
I have an inspire FTX functional trainer. It is an awesome solid cable machine that will expand your resistance and strength training to a new level. I love it
Thanks for the vid man. I picked one up from Costco last week, very happy with it. (Inspire Fitness should shoot you a free FT2 upgrade for all the biz you've thrown their way...)

Really versatile. One stack for certain exercises where you can’t link both weight stacks may be light, if your are a heavy lifter.
