On preset settings upon first use, it cooked my chicken breasts to a crisp. Boarder line too dry, so next time I'll either decrease temperature or time. Not a bad thing, just a minor adjustment for next time. No oil was used, so food was clean to the touch. Excited to see how other meals will turn out.Will recommend to friends and family in the future!

Lol my gourmia air fryer I had for about a year door broke after a couple of months having it, dangerous but it still cooked. I've been going to Sam's these past two weeks looking at that same sale you partook of and kept telling myself that's a great deal but mines work so don't get it 😫. For some reason the Vortex feature is only available on the 3qt and 7qt model at Target but other retailers such as Amazon offer the Vortex feature on 5 qts . As of March 2021, the price at Target for the 7qt is back up to $129.99 and the 5qt NON-vortex back up to $99.99.

I had the same one. The grill tray non-stick coating peeled off and the rubber tabs on it split on the sides and fell off. Got rid of it and got a Cosori. Much happier now and much better air fryer.
When u say 30 min per side when u cook ur chicken, does the fryer cook all around the chicken? Ur not actually flipping the chicken correct? And do u have to "stir" your food, like fried for example? I've never used one. I just bought one - thank u for ur video. That chicken looks so good!

Didn’t read all the comments but whatever settings you use wen you open it it stops obviously but wen you close it it automatically resumes the time nice machine
Great video Bro. The machine does have a start button, it's the on/off button. Once you enter your settings if you hit the on/off button again it immediately starts cooking.
Yep, I got mine in about Feb 2020. It cooks great. Frozen steak, be so good. I do the chickens all the time. Turkey breast mmmmmmmh. Only thing the bottom part the food sit on the non-stick is peeling off. But I use parchment paper

Hey Doug. Just got my second Power XL the same one you are reviewing. Love the new vortex. Had the other one 4yrs. It’s still going but just wanted a new one. Cook whole chickens weekly. Cheaper than buying. Please explain the preheat. Don’t understand the instruction for the preheat.I ordered the grill plate for the fryer and it works great.

I like this but not having the race buttons would be an issue for me I can’t see I’m blind so I have to go by feeling things like that unless the kids are in the house they’re able to do that for me but without the kids or my husband being in the house I wouldn’t be able to work this machine by myself but I do love the presets that it has on it for the different foods great video

Like the new design I have the older model. The basket and drip pan would sometimes detach. A hazard at times 😬 Also sometimes I would have a problem with it turning on after the basket is inserted.
Hi Doug. I'm a new sub & new to air frying. Does your air fryer smoke a lot when you do a whole chicken. I set my smoke alarms off twice. I have a Ultrean 6 qt air fryer. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.
I still like the original double pan design better. Much easier to drain grease and doesn't get the inside of the unit dirty. This one looks like a disaster ready to happen.
Awe that sucks! I like the big basket size but I don't like that the basket is not detachable like my current one. I like the option to just dump my food without getting the grease also.

Hi, great video, just got my air fryer at Sams for $69: never used one before so glad I found your page. One question. You put the whole chicken in for 60 minutes, but you said 30 minutes each side. So did you stop it after 30 minutes and flip the chicken or does this cook both sides at once ? Sorry if the question sounds dumb, but like I said I've never used one before

There is a Churches Smoke House Rub recipe on the internet that looks simple to make. A whole chicken with that rub is making me want to leave the house right now to go and buy this.

I think you'll get more use out of the airfryer. I use mine pretty near every day.
I have both and the air fryer is better the electric grill says non stick but it is a pain to clean.
