I don’t know why people hate on the iPad 10, my best advice is get it but not for $450 only $350 it is really good enough for every day task and u can’t even tell that the display is not laminated unless u hold it 6 inches from your face
Absolutely.. think the biggest problem everyone had with it was the price! In most countries, it was priced very close to the iPad Air which in comparison made it feel like a bad deal! Now, with price reduction, it’s the perfect entry level iPad!!
Got it at equivalent of 349$ in India.. Totally worth it for the majority of consumers who are not professional content creators and just into casual gaming and artwork.

Yeah $449 here in the U.S. was just the usual Apple silliness!
The new $349- which is what I paid for one on eBay last year - is much more appropriate for this model.
As you said in your terrific review
- it really does everything you need, is super fast, lasts all day
and is the perfect iPad for most people!
I even like this better than the Air 5 which is also on sale,
because it works with my first gen pencil and has a perfect center camera set up.
I also think that when it gets upgraded in the fall it will likely just be a chip upgrade and not much else.
( We can also hope for a minimum 128 gb model instead of 64gb, but that does not seem to be an Apple thing to do! lol)
As you said - picking this up for the new lower price is the easy choice for anyone looking for an iPad right now.

I’m worried about the update support length since it’s running the a14 chip from the iPhone 12
@@Frankococo93 it still performs well, exported a 10 min 4K video project in about 7 minutes, can play Asphalt 9 without any issues or pixilation or dropped frames! But yes, if you are after long term support, then the M2 iPad Air is the one to go for!

1:- I have a budget of 50k INR / 600$ what would be the best the i pad 10th gen 64gb with the apple pencil 1 or a i pad air 5 64gb with a normal off brand stylus. I want do a little gaming , little video/photo editing, 3d sculpting/modeling(i wanna learn CAD ),and i am studying for JEE Exams.
2:- Please recommend some free alternatives of the procreate and other paid apps for the i pad, i need it as i can't spend a single penny on any application.
(i will use an external storage device for the lack of storage)

Coming to your query .. iPad 10 at the discounted price does give you a lot of iPad and you really don’t have to spend more .. the only plus point which I currently see with the iPad Air 5 is that M1 processor with 8GB RAM .. if that feels worthy for you to spend the extra amount, then sure, go for the air .. otherwise the 10 will be perfectly fine
Yes, like the other commenter suggested .. there might be new iPads soon so you can wait and see and if you want to buy existing ones, make air you are getting the discounted price
