The fact that athrun can still giving some resistance from fighting 2 Gundam in mass produced GOUF not customed one really speaks about how good his piloting skill. Also don't forget that the main objective of athrun are just escaping not taking down those two, while both of them are actually trying to take him down death or alive.
I am the only thinking that if i had to flee like himi would stole legend or destiny because litterally no one would guard them and zaft security is bad.

In the movie, he was also able to pilot SF and use its dragoons. Damn Athrun should have took the Legend before leaving ZAFT! can you imagine durandal's reaction lol. Orb's endgame lineup would be Kira with SF, Athrun with IJ, Mu with Legend and Andrew with Akatsuki.
The dude had was on constant stalemate with Kira at his peak until he himself lost focus. Props to Rey, maaan. Love the Legend better than Providence with its flexible wings and that awesome two hit slash animation

The Legend Gundam has potential to be as powerful as the Providence Gundam in Seed Destiny, but it was defeated in a one sided battle against the Strike Freedom Gundam. I got to give it to Rey for being able to fight against Kira Yamato and the Strike Freedom Gundam for a while
Legend is an upgrade. I don't know why people kept saying its not as powerful as providence. The gundam is more agile, has better close range combat ability and also formidable inside earth atmosphere with better uses of its flexible dragoons backpack. Providence can only be used in space.

The beam color when DRAGOON shot is more about ranged(green) rather close-range(pink) So it's clear to say that those two DRAGOON can become a type of Funnel beam saber and the Reflector in Seed Universe mostly can stop the range beam weapon but not the close-range beam weapon

MMI-GAU26 17.5mm CIWS 2문 MA-BAR78F 고에너지 빔 라이플 1정 MA-M80S 디파이언트 改 빔 자벨린 2개 MX-2351 솔리두스 풀고르 빔 실드 발생 장치 2개 GDU-X7 돌격 빔 기동포 탑재 드라군 2기 GDU-X5 돌격 빔 기동포 탑재 드라군 8기 이렇게 무장되어 있으며 프로비던스가 미완성이라면 전설은 사실상 완성형에 재일 가깝다.왜냐하면 프로비던스는 크루제의 요구 때문에 근접전이 난데없이 원거리용으로 급조하게 만들어진 바람에 복부에 케이블이 대놓고 들어났지만 전설은 케이블이 없다라기보단 하나밖에 없다. 하지만 후반부에 나온 기체라서 그런지 첫 데뷔가 하필이면 아스란 과 메이린이 구프 이그나이티드를 탈취하여 무장 탈영할때 첫 등장하였지만 근데 장소가 장소인지라 드라군 시스템을 사용할수가 없는데다 비가 오지게 내리고 있는 악조건이라서 별 문제가 없지만 벼락 맞았다면 그대로 작살난건 매한가지다... 조종사는 레이 자 바렐 즉 왕 싸가지로 원래 아스란 자라에게 줄려고 했는데 그거 사실 뻥이다.애초에 전설은 레이에게 줄 생각이였지 아스란에게 줄생각은 코딱지만큼 없었다. 하지만 더 치명적인것은 이 기체의 넘버링이 하필이면 악마의 숫자인 666이란게 참 묘하다. 그러나 우주전인 메사이어 공방전에서 스트라이크 프리덤을 끌고온 키라와 대치하지만 조종사의 역량 과 전투 경험이 키라가 더 우세해버린 바람에 단 한대도 맞추지도 못하고 오히려 스트라이크 프리덤의 드라군에 신나게 두둘겨 맞아버린 바람에 몸통 과 다리 한쪽만 남고 완전히 걸레짝이 되었고 메사이어에 침투한 스트라이크 프리덤을 뒤 쫓지만 결국 레이가 길버트를 사살해버리는 미친 팀킬을 보여주는 바람에 결국 메사이어와 함께 그대로 산화해버리고 말았다.키라는 이미 프로비던스와 상대한 전적이 있는데다 드라군 시스템에 대한 원리를 어느정도 알고 있기 때문에 역전의 역전을 거듭해서 키라가 이긴것이다..아무튼 전설은 그렇게 메사이어와 함께 그대로 작살나고 만다.
I consider the Legend a bit of a downgrade to the Providence as one: the Providence has more Dragoon units then the Legend and two: the Legend lack the Multi-Lock system that the original Providence have. Which raise the question on why Durandal never install the multi lock on system on the Legend? The Legend is a direct upgrade of the Providence sure it has less Dragoon pod then the Providence, but that still isn't a good enough excuse on not giving it the Multi lock on system.
That's what I thought, too. It's understandable that the Destiny doesn't have multilock system since it is more of a melee combat gundam and has only 2 range weapons. But the Legend nonetheless should have it.
funny how the Providence was more scarier than the Legend. and the Legend was supposed to be the upgraded version. Its Either the pilot sucks or Freedom has no trouble fighting this thing since it also had dragoons to intercept Legend dragoons.
I don't think Rey was a bad pilot, after all he is an ace pilot and an Al Da Flaga clone. The Legend is indeed superior to the Providence. It's just that Kira has just progressed as a pilot since the first war to completely curb stomp Rey.
They could have equipped another beam rifle for the Legend's left hand. It had no physical shield and was holding nothing most of the time. At least the Providence made good use of all the armaments for both arms.
we were robbed of the original plotline where Kira and Athrun didn't take center stage and the whole show becomes Shinn as the protagonist and Rey as the antagonist and we could've gotten a final showdown with Shinn piloting Destiny (melee) fighting against Rey (ranged), fighting against Legend. A complete 180 on what we got with SEED where Kira (ranged) fights Athrun (melee).
We weren't 'robbed' of the original plotline where 'Shinn is the protagonist and Rey is the antagonist'. Where'd you hear that? Shinn was always meant to deviate from being a hero and become more villainous, Morosawa has said as such. He commits various evils like firing on defenseless EA soldiers, sides with Durandal's insane Destiny Plan and thinks its okay to target Orb's civilians with Requiem.

I mean the opening credits and color scheme alone shows that Shinn was the protagonist that will be a better Kira. A more realistic one. But we got an unhinged antagonist instead? You mean to tell me that you buy all that? The fact that Cagali was a strong independent stubborn woman being reduced into a bumbling useless mess? "BUT Morosawa said..." She blew the budget of the show to her private concerts and refused to work and used her illness as an excuse to shut the complaints down. Bandai and Sunrise commissioned and greenlit 3 movies to be done with 1 to be made and it took 20 years to come out. 5 years AFTER Morosawa died. Yet you still defend her because "those were just rumors" Ever heard of public relations damage control? Ever heard of scandals? Of course, there isn't going to be an official statement. 2 VAs giving hints and production crew blowing whistles.. "rumors because it isn't official statement" Shinn is a protagonist and Kira and Athrun takes the backline. Shin fights Rey at the end. The whole premise of Shinn is that Kira was an idealist nutcase that only caused mayhem in the battlefield. Not resolving any conflicts at all. This was the whole point of 00's Celestial Being's entire plotline. "but Morosawa said blah blah blah"

レイは宇宙ではガンダムタイプやエグザス相手にザクで互角の戦いが出来るくらいだったのに地上に降りてからはミネルバの艦上でチマチマ撃ってる事しか出来なく成ってたから本来の実力を出し切れてなかったけどレジェンド乗り始めてからの明らかに動きが良くなり大暴れ出来る様になってようやく本来の実力を発揮できたんだなって

FT装甲を実体剣でブチ破った所を起点にドラグーンの集中放火を浴びせてナイトスコードを落とす伝説も見たかった
まぁビームスパイクあるからフェムテク装甲もぶち抜けはする。
ただ確かに大気圏では無理だから実体剣とかは欲しい所だね。

ZGMF-X666S 전설은 가면보이 라우 르 크루제가 써먹었던 프로비던스의 후계기종으로 프로비던스는 원래 근접용으로 제작되려다가 저 가면보이의 요구로 드라군 시스템을 부랴부랴 장착해서 미완성인 상태에서 출격하여 무서운 성과를 내지만 결국 키라에 의해 칼빵 맞아 뒤져버렸고 그 성능을 알게된 샤아 아즈나블 아니 길버트 듀렌달은 혹시 모를 상황을 대비하여 비밀리에 제작한것이 바로 운명 과 전설이였다.
전설의 동력원은 하이퍼 듀트리온 엔진을 탑제하고 있으며 장갑은 당연히 VPS 장갑을 적용되어 있다.이번 드라군 시스템은 특이하게도 8개로 늘어났으며 가변 백팩이 특이하게 H로 되어 있다.
무장은 이렇다.

이렇게 무장되어 있으며 프로비던스가 미완성이라면 전설은 사실상 완성형에 재일 가깝다.왜냐하면 프로비던스는 크루제의 요구 때문에 근접전이 난데없이 원거리용으로 급조하게 만들어진 바람에 복부에 케이블이 대놓고 들어났지만 전설은 케이블이 없다라기보단 하나밖에 없다.
하지만 후반부에 나온 기체라서 그런지 첫 데뷔가 하필이면 아스란 과 메이린이 구프 이그나이티드를 탈취하여 무장 탈영할때 첫 등장하였지만 근데 장소가 장소인지라 드라군 시스템을 사용할수가 없는데다 비가 오지게 내리고 있는 악조건이라서 별 문제가 없지만 벼락 맞았다면 그대로 작살난건 매한가지다...
조종사는 레이 자 바렐 즉 왕 싸가지로 원래 아스란 자라에게 줄려고 했는데 그거 사실 뻥이다.애초에 전설은 레이에게 줄 생각이였지 아스란에게 줄생각은 코딱지만큼 없었다.
하지만 더 치명적인것은 이 기체의 넘버링이 하필이면 악마의 숫자인 666이란게 참 묘하다.
그러나 우주전인 메사이어 공방전에서 스트라이크 프리덤을 끌고온 키라와 대치하지만 조종사의 역량 과 전투 경험이 키라가 더 우세해버린 바람에 단 한대도 맞추지도 못하고 오히려 스트라이크 프리덤의 드라군에 신나게 두둘겨 맞아버린 바람에 몸통 과 다리 한쪽만 남고 완전히 걸레짝이 되었고 메사이어에 침투한 스트라이크 프리덤을 뒤 쫓지만 결국 레이가 길버트를 사살해버리는 미친 팀킬을 보여주는 바람에 결국 메사이어와 함께 그대로 산화해버리고 말았다.키라는 이미 프로비던스와 상대한 전적이 있는데다 드라군 시스템에 대한 원리를 어느정도 알고 있기 때문에 역전의 역전을 거듭해서 키라가 이긴것이다..아무튼 전설은 그렇게 메사이어와 함께 그대로 작살나고 만다.

レジェンドも好きなんだけどやっぱ無印ラスト2話しか出てこないのに恐ろしい力を見せつけたプロヴィが好きなのよ。なんかビームスパイクついてるし飛べるしドラグーンも地上では引っ付けたまま前後左右にある程度自由に撃てるから万能だがクルーゼがインパクト強すぎたせいで見劣り感がするのよね・・・
I consider the Legend a bit of a downgrade to the Providence as one: the Providence has more Dragoon units then the Legend and two: the Legend lack the Multi-Lock system that the original Providence have. Which raise the question on why Durandal never install the multi lock on system on the Legend? The Legend is a direct upgrade of the Providence sure it has less Dragoon pod then the Providence, but that still isn't a good enough excuse on not giving it the Multi lock on system.
That's what I thought, too. It's understandable that the Destiny doesn't have multilock system since it is more of a melee combat gundam and has only 2 range weapons. But the Legend nonetheless should have it.

funny how the Providence was more scarier than the Legend. and the Legend was supposed to be the upgraded version. Its Either the pilot sucks or Freedom has no trouble fighting this thing since it also had dragoons to intercept Legend dragoons.
I don't think Rey was a bad pilot, after all he is an ace pilot and an Al Da Flaga clone. The Legend is indeed superior to the Providence. It's just that Kira has just progressed as a pilot since the first war to completely curb stomp Rey.
They could have equipped another beam rifle for the Legend's left hand. It had no physical shield and was holding nothing most of the time. At least the Providence made good use of all the armaments for both arms.

どうしても苦戦する場面の方が目立つのはしょうがないのでは
ラウのプロヴィデンスは言ってみれば終盤の
たった2話だけだからこそインパクトが残ったわけで
もしレジェンドが同じ役割だったらそれは一緒やんって話でしかなくて

we were robbed of the original plotline where Kira and Athrun didn't take center stage and the whole show becomes Shinn as the protagonist and Rey as the antagonist and we could've gotten a final showdown with Shinn piloting Destiny (melee) fighting against Rey (ranged), fighting against Legend. A complete 180 on what we got with SEED where Kira (ranged) fights Athrun (melee).
We weren't 'robbed' of the original plotline where 'Shinn is the protagonist and Rey is the antagonist'. Where'd you hear that? Shinn was always meant to deviate from being a hero and become more villainous, Morosawa has said as such. He commits various evils like firing on defenseless EA soldiers, sides with Durandal's insane Destiny Plan and thinks its okay to target Orb's civilians with Requiem.

I mean the opening credits and color scheme alone shows that Shinn was the protagonist that will be a better Kira. A more realistic one. But we got an unhinged antagonist instead?

Shinn is a protagonist and Kira and Athrun takes the backline. Shin fights Rey at the end. The whole premise of Shinn is that Kira was an idealist nutcase that only caused mayhem in the battlefield. Not resolving any conflicts at all.
This was the whole point of 00's Celestial Being's entire plotline.
