This sounds interesting. 'm currently in a walk study, plus doing my rehab and daily exercises. I had a hemorrhagic AVM stroke and notice most studies are for Ischemic strokes. Hopefully one day stem cells and other studies are available for Hemorrhagic strokes.
I'm right there with you! I think the research needs to catch up because between AVMs(what caused mine as well), TBIs, and aneurysms, there are a lot of people who've had a hemorrhagic stroke!
I agree with you 100%. I was interested in the new FDA implant to stimulate the vagus nerve for improvement in arm and hand movement. It is only being offered for ischemic stroke patients.
Yay I'm so glad to hear you speak on this I have been attempting to do red light therapy for a couple months now so I really want to hear your take on it thank you so much for speaking on this
I'm even hearing from some doctors now that used to write this stuff off is woohoo actually are paying attention I myself was diagnosed with a neurological condition back in 2011 and at that time it really wasn't hindering me and from then till now I still haven't accepted any of their medication because I just don't believe in it not in my case now that I fell and all of a sudden it all dropped down on me I'm doing everything I can do because in a normal life I am super physically active so this right here has pretty much stolen my entire life
Hello ma'am! I am from India. I have learned a lot from your videos for understanding and finding exercises for my daughter who has mild CP out of a seizure after her birth. She had birth asphyxia. She walks on toes and has spastic diplegia. Can you please make some videos for recovery of kids having CP. Also please reply if you can help me more, I can share her videos to know which exercises can improve her condition.
Dr Tara , this sounds so interesting and gives us a ray of hope that yes we can overcome the problem we are facing. Can people who have an Auto Immune disorder ( MS ) . Who has had a stroke as well. Awaiting Reply Angel ❤❤
As I state in the video, the studies are sparse and most focus on the early stages. However, studies on overall health benefits are slightly stronger and more favorable and some of the benefits outlined in those studies are what make me think is it might be a valuable tool if. you are already doing all of the things I outline in the video. Here are the studies: www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/STROKEAHA.106.478230 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29131369/ www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3059546/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36369294/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17463313/
Thanks for asking! Given some of the mechanisms regarding the positive impact on mitochondria, it think it has some utility however, I don't think there is enough data as far as formal research studies with people with multiple sclerosis.
I always exercise five times a week, I got me a higher quality unit for home. I have bone on bone arthritis in my knees. I figure if it helps energize mitochondria it just about has to be of benefit.
Hello ma'am. I am from india and my mother suffers from paralysis on her right side due to stroke. Is there any way to reach via e-mail for your consultation.

Nice cautious review, thank you. If you would like to review our glasses let me know (co-developed by eye scientists in the UK )
At what stage of the recovery this would be beneficial?

Your doctor is wrong... they don't like to be but I know for a fact improving diet worked and exercise and this would also help.
