EM2 build is coming along nicely. Today we got started on our new charge harness. We purchased 2 gauge wire and completely re loomed it. The batteries new location will be in the front bumper. We re-used our old custom battery bracket. we also installed the front and rear Hasport mount. Everyday we get a bit closer our goal. hopefully we are up and running soon. enjoy

Insert the wire loom in the bumper support.... that’s what I did on my EK also helps shield from the elements :) and less zip ties lol. Fuse box in the glove box so you don’t have to extend the harness even more and if a fuse goes out it’s in the glove box....

I did everything you did on your harness and it doesn’t reach across the car
Yes you have to extend any wire that won’t reach its location . Same wiresize from autozone . had to extend the brakebooster wire as well.

i just swapped the harness in my buddies car, everything matches up until i get to the starter and the charging loom, the plug is different any work around's?
If your referring to the engine harness. for the alternator and knock sensor. The plugs needed are on the original charge harness from the swap car.
@@Deemossi yeah its an 02-04 engine harness but the vss, alt and knock are 05-06 any way to repin? or just buy a new charge harness?
