@legomygecko123 Think of it this way, the length of the cage should be twice the length of the lizard and the width of the cage should be at least the length of the lizard. so say a tegu is 4 feet long you would need an 8x4 cage,3 feet you would need an 6x3 and so on.
@Riticlol other than that he is a really healthy tegu, i no alot of people tht got them from their and there fine ,and seeing them in pet stores and the conditions there in yes! i still recomend them
well thats totally up to..but in my opinion tegus are a very intelligent lizard and alot more interesting and entertaining plus i found out that the bigger snakes tend to have a attitude with them...so my finally answer would be to go with a tegu. if you want i can give you a very good care sheet let me no
@11beardeddragon theres a couple of factors,how much your feeding them,and how humid your terrarium is if your tegu isnt realy eating and its very dry it might take a while

@braviart yea actually in the summer i have him in a outdoor enclosure and he hibernats in the winter
@BalllPythons101 25 gallon high its a really old tank idk if thy even still make that size.you could always use a Rubbermaid bin, way cheaper

@TheLegoproductions10 his cage now is a 8'l *8'wide 4' high and he hibernates inside in a different cage
@SuPahMiGuElKiLlEr make sure you have a large cage for them and have time to handle everyday

Actually i just bought a red Juvi from them missing one toe And 2 feet long. Hes a little scittish cause he had only been held twice.
