    A very informative and detailed breakdown of the operating costs associated with owning and operating a bizjet. The ACJ220 seems like a very modern, fuel efficient new narrowbody plane, and the cabin is wider and taller than even the largest private jets from Dassault, Gulfstream, and Bombardier. On a long range flight, that larger cabin would certainly translate to greater comfort for the passengers.

    • @Puzzoozoo
      @Puzzoozoo 2 года назад +5

      All well and good, but a 220 restricts you to commercial airports, where as a dedicated biz jet can land at smaller airports.

    • @parimal7528
      @parimal7528 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@Puzzoozoofliers outside US, mainly in Asia have big airports only, so not a concern. And for international flights, you need to land where immigration facility is available.

    • @patthonsirilim5739
      @patthonsirilim5739 2 месяца назад

      @@Puzzoozooplus that is only true for smaller jet like pretor and legacy or the smaller gulf streams the big boy g800 or global 8000 are similar size in terms of length and wing space so hanger landing fees are just as expensive it also take the same amount of crew while the acj220 might burn more fuel but it cost a lot less to service and service and parts center are globally available.

    Brand new acj220 100mil fully furnished ready to fly and annual running cost around 3mil for 400hours a year engine has a 12000hours tbo and the plane is rated for 50k flight cycle assuming a annual flight of 400 hours for 25 years you won’t even reach engine tbo or half of the airframe life cycle in 25 years so all maintenance cost will only be for basic consumable during the lifetime of the plane so a 3mil a year running cost for the whole 25 years of ownership so expect to pay around 100+75 mill to use have your own personal flying penthouse available around the clock for 25 years for a billionaire it’s a pretty good deal to be honest assuming your 50-60 or so you just flop down 175mil you can now fly anywhere anytime for 25years until your 75-85 years old.

    They created a new market segment that's been in existence since 1999? Sure.
    Sorry, but it's not the newest, biggest or the fastest. It's not even any of those within the Airbus biz jet family.

    • @mojojojo_BB
      @mojojojo_BB 2 года назад

      Bizjet vs private jet. A318/319/320 are private jets. The TwoTwenty competes against the G750 and the like and is considered the first wide-body bizjet. Might be semantics, but that's how they are divided. You are correct in saying the TwoTwenty is not the fastest bizjet.

    Flight attendants make more than the pilot bro? Lmaooo Flight attendants make differing salaries based on seniority with companies but let’s say you’re generous, each FA is only gonna get about $100,000 whilst the pilot gets $200,000. Don’t forget the mechanics too! All together should be about $900,000 - $1,000,000.
