Arma Hobby Hawker Hurricane Mk. IIc

Welcome to The Scale Modelling Cafe and what is always an exciting video, Part 1 of a new project and in this case Arma Hobby's utterly amazing Hurricane Iic in 1:48. As is traditional, I will talk about the aims of the project and what I'm hoping to achieve, some of the after market stuff plus a chat about the final scheme, but as is also traditional I have no idea what scheme I'm going to do!

Another option for the Mk.IIC is the Irish Aer Corp which had the RAF markings and rear fuselage overpained in a totally different camo colour while the rest of the aircraft retained the standard RAF grey green camo.

Decisions, decisions! The great thing is that you can do pretty much whatever you want on most 'non-run-of-the-mill' aircraft, because as you've commented, how they looked on a Monday may not be how they were on Tuesday and serial XX-A may not have been the same as XX-B. I've been going down the bottomless well of Malta Spitfire research - and I've ended up doing one that's just what I think looks good.

Arma have released the Tropical version already with 3 options, 2 from Egypt/Libya and 1 from Burma in RAF Tropical Scheme- Dark Green & Dark Earth over Medium Sea Grey with the White bands. (my choice for this kit!). I ordered direct from Arma and it arrived 4 weeks ago.
