This video covers the process of a Dell Inspiron 15z 5523 Notebook which has an internal battery.
Please be sure to purchase Dell certified batteries as they have a chip that the notebook will check for. If a genuine battery is not found, you may receive "Your battery has experienced permanent failure and needs to be replaced." during the boot process and also within the BiOS.
I recommend buying straight from Dell to prevent this, even though the cost is higher. You get what you pay for and the hassle of a return is a waste of time and money.

what tool you used to remove keyboard cables at 1:54? and how would you put it back after you remove it
You can use a fingernail (best if your not sure what kind of pressure to apply when opening) or a “plastic spudger tool”. The spudger tool is inexpensive. You slide the cable back in place and clamp the plastic holding arm back down. Just look up “zero insertion force connector” if you would like more detail about how the connection works.
ok thanks, i finally got it out and was able to plug it back it in by using tweezers.
David - i followed your instructions and replaced the battery “ALL BY MYSELF”!!!!!! I can overhaul a jet turbine but haven’t performed much maintenance on a computer. Thank you for posting these instructions - and really appreciate you fast forwarding through the obvious stuff.

Dell no longer sells the battery replacement for this laptop and I purchased the one listed here...once installed it states “no battery detected” any ideas on how to fix that...the battery will no charge and computer will only run when connected to ac adapter...

At 01:51 Keyboard has two wires or what, smaller and bigger, i am bigger is of keyboard and that smaller ond is for what?? Is that wire of keyboard backlight??

How to change the mother board of this same laptop???
Hi Swarnim, I do not have a video for that process. This is not a laptop I own, and had a specific issue the owner brought to me to evaluate. You will unfortunately need to look elsewhere for that.
How much was the cost of the battery?
I bought this for about $50 USD at the time of the video.
Seriously Dell? Very poor design! Just to replace the battery..
