I agree in that harmonically pieces are off. But if ya wanna get technical harmony went out the door at the beginning of the 20th century in Art music, also Deftones' signature sound involves dissonance so I kind of think it suits the mash-up, no??? ( just looking for opinion, not meaning any disrespect )
True, the dissonances do have a more accidental feel as opposed to intentional parts of the overall harmonic structure. I still feel that the two have a complamenting vibe. Interesting, I also write "Art" music ( as much as a hate the term because I believe all music to be art, even if I don't like it) . You mentioned the 2nd Viennese school, do you write acoustic or electronic based compositions? What wider genre do you write, like complexism etc? :-)
That's cool, I've written some twelve-tone solo piano pieces as practice at college but mainly I have written a few minimalism pieces for guitar ensembles and working on a set of pieces for string trio and live electronic processors. Love the aleatoric movement aswell as a lot of Ives's "harmony meets dissonance" idea. Nothing too progressive such a s Marc André. Well its cool to know other "Art" composers are listening to Deftones. Right on dude

Extraire les pistes soi-même n'est faisable que dans certains cas assez rares. Je t'invite à rechercher des tutoriaux sur la réalisation de mashups si tu veux en savoir plus. :-)
Mec c'est vraiment bien fait tes montages et t'as de bonnes références, tu utilises un logiciel en particulier disséquer les musique pistes par pistes ? Comment ça se passe ? En tout cas bon boulot :) je suis de très près !
As much as I love mashups and these 2 songs independently, I don't think this works. Something about the tempo that does not mesh well with the vocals. Aside from that, great job mixing the tracks. It is well done.

Most of it fits pretty well, I think a couple of parts would have sounded better if you slightly slowed Thom's vocals though.
