@Alpha hi
@Alpha oh cool
@Alpha wait I just realized you commented that you were offended a YEAR ago
I can do the parkour roll perfectly on level or small heights, but how do you pop into the roll without collapsing your knees in towards the chest when you fall from above 1 story? Is it always ideal to jump further out to ensure there's forward momentum?
Answer to this guy it’s been 5 years
@@user-wz4sy2xq9dlol😂
@Ronnie ive learned my roll, thanks to you i would like to say thanks (i watched your tutorial ages ago if your wondering how i learned it so quick lol)
Ronnie Thank you so much for that tutorial and now that i'm jumping on height's my leg don't feel much impact if you're doing a roll...
Me and my friend matt were inspired to do parkour because of you, thanks ronnie!

Great, now you are doing grammatical mistakes.
I'm no parkour enthusiast, but if I ever find myself jumping off a 2 story building. I probably will still fail but thanks

great new intro, i miss the old one but the new one is fresh. I have a question about front flips I can land but always low and i just cant figure out how to stick them up on my feet. im sure what im missing is simple. Ill have to watch your front flip videos for the 5th time:)
Nice turial
you are the best tutorial maker out there keep up the good work
Hey Ronnie! I was wondering how to know where it is ok to do parkour so that I don't trespass, get stopped by security, ect.
Lately ive been watching some older videos and discovered Alexander Bayturin. Russian free runner. Guy literally dive rolls from the height you just leaped off for the tutorial. Go watch his video titled Don't do it. But anyway i have been wanting to try rolling off of surfaces and dropping. I used a very thin yoga pad today on top of a broken down van but only so the ridges on top dont dig into my back since it isnt totally flat. I somersaulted and dropped from there mid roll.
If I mess up my roll how do I roll out of it
Do more tutorials like this!
Nice
Oooaaaahhhh. That's why my rolls are slow and hurt. They dont have forward momentom. Thank you Ronnie.
Thanks vere so much
I LOVE YOURVIDS bro keep it up
Nice job bro
Thanks, helpful bro. But next time i suggest you start the video with the actual roll, then much talk later. It's easy to learn by watching the action and also it makes the video interesting to watch
Wow Ronnie,, I am waiting this...
It's really hard cause my elbows hit the ground so hard. But I'm perfecting it
Congrats on 900k on your mane channel

HERE IN 2022!!
How high can I try this with when is it very high that even rolling is bad/dangerous?
Hey does anywone have some advice on how to roll on hard surfaces? My hipbone sticks out so much I cant do rolls hard stuff I have tried but I had it bruised for like two weeks🙏pls somewone
Ik this is really old. But I been at the parkour stuff for over 10 years now. And I don't think there is really a way to do rolls on concrete that won't hurt at least a little.
There are so many tutorials that teach how to avoid hitting your hip bone, but no matter what I have tried I always hit it at least a tiny bit. And I do the diagonal role perfectly. It's just that If your lean. Theres nothing protecting that little hip protrusion.and I cant role any more diagonally. Because it would mess up the roll. I honestly think that most pros, and people on youtube just do their best to mitigate how hard you hot it. Rather than not hitting it at all.

What shoes do u wear

Thank you for teaching me parkour now I am pro parkour now hehehe thank you so much for teaching me a parkour
Was this at U of U?
But how do you do the actual roll?
My difficult is rolling height.
where are you guy USA ?
How do I not hit my head on the sidewalk lmao
Soren X work on landing in a comfortable position/angle, if you end up more sideways or straight it wont matter so long as you can roll comfortably with good technique. But for a more sideways landing try turning your toes to the side you're rolling to and hitting the ground angled so you can drop into it. Use your arms to absorb some impact/compress with them and tuck your head into your opposite armpit or just look towards it as you roll you shouldn't clip it, going more sideways make that easier to manage rather than more straight on like ronnie does here. Go look up dominic di tomasso or daniel ilabaca and look at their landing technique you'll see what i mean.
Um tried this and my knee uppercutted my chin and now my tongue is bleeding relentlessly
Jesus man were u okay???

What!? man! ?I do parkour since a long time and I don't have my legs so straight, I mean obviously your good Ronnie Shalvis legs keep your momentum going with the balls of your feet and with the good form. BUT!I don't see THE moment where you just absorb the impact I mean your legs don't have to be so slightly bent in my point you have to crunch your legs with the impact and it's just your momentum that keeps you going forward, I mean; Damn! it's so quick, Why don't you do it more relaxed man😀?
#From Belgium
I do it the same way you describe. All the parkour tutorials say DO NOT BEND KNEES past 90 degrees because your knees will take the full impact. But on the other hand, it feels more natural for me to "crunch" my legs inwards as I curl into a forward roll. I've been trying to get quicker like the way Ronnie does it but I end up jamming my feet sometimes.
not gonna be nice when you try to roll on the concrete
