It's unfortunate that it is not a tenet, but I kind of get it. It'd be so OP if we could put a toxin progenitor on the lenz and have it deal innate viral without even putting any mods on it.
It's always been my favourite weapon before it got powercrept out of the playstyle, so I am happy that there's an option to play lenz with hybrid status too. I love this weapon a lot.

I use corrosive on mine while skill keeping the cold with HM and primarily frostbite arcane. Viral from a secondary or panzer. Gives clouds of 300k slash damage, it's pretty good.

I have a crit damage, damage, toxin riven for the lenz, finally feels usable with this ammo boost!!! Shit slaps so damn hard. Which it was multishot instead of damage tho, but still beast with the elemental and crit damage
You can compensate with primary frostbite and have everything you want ;)

They have already patched this my friend. I saw your comment on the Torid build and had fun with it for a day but it no longer works

1 argument i kind of disagree slightly, The aeo on bramma is slightly higher but the fall of is worse meaning u can do dmg on a bigger radius. But the radius u need to hit enemies in order to do the needed damage, the aeo suddenly becomes smaller. I am nitpicking details here i know, im a lenz noob user but love the weapon all the same. Good thing they finnaly have upgraded lenz though. Super fun with Gauss, untill u run out of ammo obviously #ammo changes. This weapon still prolly won't reach the higher numbers then bramma mainly cuz they gave this weapon a horrid riven disposition.
I think primsa lenz being okay is fine - i think that, as long as a weapon isn't dog-shit and can do SP reliably for its MR requirement, it becomes a viable option, which, as you can imagine, opens the scope of player options (ha). Lenz really suffered from powercreep syndrome (tm), and at least now it can pull its own weight if you prefer it over a kuva zarr or a bramma, its not better than them, but its good enough where its an actual choice you can make.
i wish that extended to many other things in the game yet here we are.

I'd say only if you are playing Chroma, because otherwise you'd be lacking in base damage even if you manage to slot Serration into your build. Galvanized Aptitude isn't an option for base admage with AoE weapons.
Well if this has prisma version, more hope for Tenet amprex? Or maybe even incarnon....

@@eyywannn8601 She can buff base dmg bro just like serration. You get base dmg from octavia and you get multishot and crit dmg from arcane. Good Synergy :D

Probably gonna have an Incarnon adaptor for the Lenz down the line and I don't think Kuva and Tenet weapons will get Incarnon versions.

Still a better variant than the opticor vandl. It's just a slight upgrade to its regular which Is fine. The lenz is a good weapon.
Opticor vandal is pretty great to me
@MumboJumboZXC it feels better but the damage was reduced so much that even a half charge from the regular one still does more damage than a full charge from the vandal. It's not a bad weapon but it's no bgf. More like a charge up latron with a lower FR.
The damage on the regular Opticor is just overkill, because you're still going to oneshot enemies as long as you just strip their armor and your build isn't shit.
primary frostbite maybe, replace crit dammage mod and put base dammage in and on frost arcane

I am surprised everyone is running with Hunter Munitions, but this weapon shines with Internal Bleeding way more imo. Also, this weapon might looks like a Frostbite candidate, but the unique function to have a 1 second delay between the impact and the explosion makes it perfect to the nerfed Merciless of 4 seconds
