I love your “so what?!” sentiment for having two explorers. For me, this epitomizes what watch collecting should be. Buy watches that make YOU feel good. Who cares if you have two watches from the same model family?Cut through the shroud of hype and what you “should” do, and collect watches to wear and enjoy for yourself. Great video and you’ve got a new subscriber in me!
Absolutely fantastic collection and I love that you do these collection videos. Love the normalcy but also your appreciation for interesting pieces and variety!
Really great overview. Don’t worry about having x or y watch, keep on collecting what you like. I used to have 9 watches but have simplified my collection to a Speedy, an SKX and a G square.
Just subbed. I like your speaking style - doesn't like you're reading a script. Very cool collection. I got into collecting only about year ago. The method to my madness was that I wanted a sweeping second hand, so I got a Bulova Precisionist Jet Star; wanted a beater solar watch, so I got a Citizen Chandler; for an automatic movement, got a Submariner homage; for a retro dress watch, got a Seiko solar tank....and so on. Haven't ventured into luxury watches; don't want to right now.
The second G-Shock 4:22 is the GWM5610-1. I have the same one. It’s the best fitting G-Shock for smaller wrists, and I like that it’s not chunky and rather slim.
Great collection. Love the explorer, i want one myself. I have a small collection too. Its tough because you always want one more watch. Enjoy what you have
Nice collection and the collection is more appealing to me because you're presenting yourself as a normal/average person, because I'm sure we've all seen the super expensive and even super rare watch collections from millionaires and it's usually the expected to a point
Nice, very respectable. I feel like i relate a lot to you when you say you grew up liking watches and have been into them for years and enjoyed watching other people's watch collection videos and now you make your own, thats awesome. I am getting more and more into watches but im an average guy like you so i love this video and collection.
I don't think its strange that you have two explorers. Those two that you have look very different to me. I would not worry about what other people think, as long as it makes you happy then go for it. 😊 Life is too short to try to please everyone else. I'm a woman in my thirties and have recently added a few watches to my collection. I like the way Rolex watches look but don't like the idea of having to send it out to get maintenance done on it. I have a few Movado watches as I love the museum dial design but hate that I have to send it to them to get the battery changed. I know, I'm weird. Lol Anyways, loved your video! ❤ 😊
I remember your King Turtle review and how highly you spoke of it, to see it in your collection here makes that review all the more genuine and I'm more convinced that I'll add one to my collection
Hey Harrison, this is the first video from you that I’ve watched and it made me subscribe to your channel already. Keep going with this kind of videos that expresses your genuineness and personal style. I follow a lot of watch youtube channels and feel you have the makings of Adrian Barker or Teddy Baldassarre. Helps that you have an attractive appearance too! Good luck and I hope you do really well here.
Really appreciate that! I just try to be myself and so far people share my approach or at least enjoy hearing it. I’m around for the long haul, so we’ll see!
The Exp 2 on the artem beige strap is the heat! I put mine on the Rubber B Dream strap which is adjustable by 2mm ala glide lock and I love it - changes the look up big time! I'm thinking my BB58 blue would be sick on the blue Artem!
I feel like a watch by Orologi Calamai would fit perfectly in your collection. It's an Italian microbrand run by Francesco Calamai, whose father and grandfather were aviators and so he created this brand with aviation as its main "theme". Except the fact they use top grade Sellita movements (the highest quality Sellita movements except for the COSC ones) and have cases, dials etc. built by really good manufacturers, the really cool thing about the brand is that their cases are made of steel from an F-104 fighter jet, and they come with all kinds of papers to certify which turbine the steel was from. They even make special editions for the Italian military corps only. I think the MC-72 (same one that I own) would be a great add to your collection, especially if you sold the Tudor. Not sure if there's any videos in English out there about the brand, but the story behind it is really fascinating, and the turbine steel idea is just poetic imo.
Let’s break the smartwatch stigma! I have a Garmin Fenix 6X and I wear it every day for workouts, running, sleeping, and sometimes just lounging so I can get alerts when I don’t know where my phone is. It’s my most worn watch, honestly. But that doesn’t take away my watch collector cred! At least it shouldn’t.
My mum has the Explorer 36mm, is a watch that gives me so many emotions when I put it. I am building my collection and to find something similar I bought the Tudor Prince oysterdate 90500 (35mm)...cant wait. I would suggest to add in tour collection a diver, the Tudor black bay 58 is amazing trust me
Nice collection and great episode. I also own a 36mm Explorer - it is my 2nd favorite watch in my collection. For many wrists, the 36mm Rolex oyster cases are fantastic. Robust, sporty and classy. All day comfortable, too. The only watch I wear more often than my Explorer is my green dial 36mm OP. Which I like a bit more than the Explorer :)
I have 3 explorers in my collection: 39mm 214270, Explorer II 16570 40mm polar dial just like yours, and a Explorer II 216570 42mm black dial. All wear completely differently and are totally different watches IMHO
I am just getting started on watch collection and really appreciate that you have "normal" watches as well as top quality/price ones. I am hooked on your channel...damn. hahaha
Harrison, 2 points: 1) I enjoy your vids immensely, and 2) though I have never considered buying a luxury watch, your easygoing manner and passion for watches has actually got me thinking 🤔 . . .
Love the collection! I´ve had TWO Maurice Lacroix Aikons and they are actually pretty great. Didn´t have the blacked out version long enough to make the strap softer tho 😅 I worked for Seiko and ML - so you have my approval 😉
Great collection! Regarding the two Explorers, I understand you… I have 4 watches and 3 of them are Explorers (124270, 16570 Black and 16570 Polar)… The fourth one is a Tudor BB54. Artem straps are also great… My Polar is always on a Loopless (like yours) or Nato from them. Regards from Brazil!
Hello Harrison, like this video. As to your two explorers, your explanation as to why you have two your explanation makes too much sense. Your common sense in a world in which common sense is no longer so common is refreshing. I acquired my Breitling a23322 exactly like yours a few months ago and after a long road of lusting after the next watch I have finally reached personal satisfaction as too my collection and after a few months have what I feel is "my" perfect collection. Keep up the good work.
My collection is similar to yours and I’m just an average dude as well. My first “luxury” watch was my Rolex submariner date I bought when I was living in Japan. Then I bought my other dream watch which was the omega seamaster professional automatic bond era. Then I bought a grand seiko spring drive and a Seiko marinemaster 300m. And today I also purchased the Tudor pelagos 39 like you did. Got a great deal, only paid around 2700. Actually bought all my watches at a steep discount and it’s the only way to go with these watches. Of course I also have several G shocks. And my military inspired watch is an MTM. That’s the only watch I feel is overpriced because it’s just a cheap Chinese made quartz watch that cost $600. Build quality is decent though. And military guys pretty much only wear G-shocks. I’ve not seen anyone wear anything more expensive than basic g-shocks when I was in the army because we were very hard on our watches and they will definitely get destroyed with something more fragile and not many could afford something more expensive like a luminox.
Very nice collection with a realistic number of pieces. Love the stories attached to the watches. And I totally agree and the Rolex Explorers. They are similar in name but very different in looks.
I love this video! This is what I want to see more. Guys who love watches talking about their watch collection. I clean pools for a living and have a collection that I’m proud of. a mix of IWC, Seiko, Hublot, Omega, Hamilton, and Tissot. I love when I can talk with someone about why I purchased them and how I purchased them...
It's a really great collection. My ideal watch collection will be like 1) Flex watch (Grand seiko snowflake) 2) Leather band dress watch ( Cartier Tank, longnese) 3) Diver+ trekking watch ( G shock or luminox) 4) Everyday office watch (Tissot Gentle men)
Thank you for this review. Where has the Pelagos 39 gone ? IIRC it was part of your 3-watch collection (Explorer, Explorer 2 and Pelagos 39). Nice Bremont although it looks thiccc.
I enjoy your taste. A Navitimer (that I still don’t care to afford) helped pull me into watches. The Bremont is gorgeous. The Artem sailcloth straps may be the first of what you’ve shown to reach my collection. They look buttery elegant. Respect on manufacturing too. I had a machine shop in my garage a few years. Subscribed!
finally a realistic collection. been looking for something that isn’t full of rolexes, tudors, and omega’s😂. love the collection brotha!! relatively new to scene, i’m coming up on 3 watches now. any recommendations on watch boxes?
Glad you enjoyed! Lot of good options. I sported a $20 box from amazon for two years before I bought this one. This one is pricey, but it's in my description
Great collection and great taste! I'm french and I can tell you that you did not butcher the name Maurice Lacroix (great luxury brand by the way). The square G-Shock is the 5610u, you got this reference wrong. It's funny you say that you say that you use it to set all the other watches. That's exactly what I do. And lastly, as a Frenchman, you did well to buy a french brand Baltic, that has been gaining a lot of traction and a lot of praise in the watch enthusiast market.
Just started collecting so love this video. Have an Orient Bambino, Seiko 5 and a Tissot PRX Powermatic. Looking to add a nice Hamilton. Thanks for sharing!
Sensational video Harrison, love your straight talking, ‘it is what it is’ style 👍🏻 Collection is looking solid too mate, awesome top 3 there, thanks so much for sharing 🙏🏻
I have a Maurice Lacroix pontos before they put the 3 piece oyster bracelet on it, so has a 5 piece bracelet. The blue dial and finish on it are very nice. Not one of their in house movements, but it is a nice watch for the price from an often overlooked brand.

Check out the Casio Duro. This is a surprisingly nice watch. 200 meter dive watch. Quartz movement. Shocking price at $50! The value for the money is bonkers.

When you are ready, the Glashutte Original SeaQ 39.5mm with a fully brushed bracelet. Much easier to read than the Rolexes - maybe with the exception of the newest Explorer white dial.
@@davidr2802 The Panoramic Date, larger version, is too bulky to pull off under a suit. The movement in the 39.5mm is made and assembled in house and has been in use for over 20 years so it is proven. I have had mine for over 6 months, worn it everyday, and I have never had to wind it.
1:50 beater is a car term. Same as daily driver, “daily”. Which becomes “daily beater”. Beat on that shit all day and it’ll keep running. Like a good old Toyota
You collection is very cool. You should be proud of it. Having fun is the most important thing. I know people who have high end pieces and don't seem to enjoy them. They are in another dimension, that don't seem to include fun at all. Just a score. Anyways, congrats.
@@HarrisonElmore Thanks for replying... especially since you immediately explain the strap in the video haha... I scrolled down and started typing my comment when I saw it and missed the whole explanation, sorry lol
My number 1 and number 2 is a 16570 explorer 2 black dial and a 16234 datejust silver dial 😊 I also want a navitimer next, we have very similar tastes 😊👍
Nice collection. Love the Explorer 2, but do like the current orange GMT hand. Might have missed it, but why are you selling the Tudor Panda Chrono? Thanks for sharing!!
@@HarrisonElmore Unlimited funds would be nice, lol. I guess I wanted to know what would have made it better for you to keep it in your collection? Is it too thick and etc?
New to the watch game. I what is the name of that style of watch band that you have for that Rolex explorer 2 polar? Where the band clasps as opposed to having the traditional notches I guess.
This is a great rounded collection. However I think you could probably remove the explorer ii and consider something less serious (Tudor heritage chrono, breitling top time etc).
great video man...can you do a video on some of the things that you liked about the pelly and some of the things you didn't like about it and why you ultimately got rid of it? Thanks!
This is the type of video, 90% of the community needs. Simple, affordable and each having a story.
It depends. Most people can't afford all these watches in one collection. But if you talk about standalone pieces, hell yeah. Great video!
Appreciate it!
The Rolex explorer is not affordable
@@entertainmentyoutube3606 Breitling Navitimer too
It’s a cool mix, and attainable one at a time, if you care enough to pay in time and effort to save.

Great collection. Hard to come up with something next. What you thinking?
Not sure yet. Considering trying dress watches more next year. We'll see!
The Maurice Lacroix is super cool!!
Pretty sweet watch!
Love the collection, especially the G-Shocks 💯
Very nice watch case!
Which brand is it?
I was the same as a kid with the Navitimer. I hear more stories about that model being the watch that attracts early pre-watch people.
Love it. Achievable collection for many people. What's that box you use
Appreciate it! Check description for the box!
I believe it's the dw5610. It's a great watch
I have multiple g shocks and that’s the only one I ever actually wear. Simple, small, and great features.
@@mraskett I have 2. For you have the gw5000u? If so, why don't you wear it more
Agreed! Great watch!
The explorer 2 is cool and Seiko made a lookalike but the bezel doesn’t rotate which turned me off from buying it. At over $400 it’s a no for me.
props for having the apple watch. watch snobs don't like it but it's actually an amazing evolution of the watch as we know it.
Appreciate it! It’s super useful and should be noted
Great strap combo on your explorer II, Mind sharing where you got it?
Thanks! Artem Straps. It's their loopless Sand Beige
@@HarrisonElmore Thanks for replying... especially since you immediately explain the strap in the video haha... I scrolled down and started typing my comment when I saw it and missed the whole explanation, sorry lol
@@CaliberandCamber No Worries! I should've been faster!
Amazing collection! You have a very good taste and I like the fact that it feels really personal...
Appreciate it!
My number 1 and number 2 is a 16570 explorer 2 black dial and a 16234 datejust silver dial 😊 I also want a navitimer next, we have very similar tastes 😊👍
Nice! Great minds!
Thanks for the collection review
Great collection ! Very nice combination the Explorer 2 and this strap.
Thanks!
Nice collection. Love the Explorer 2, but do like the current orange GMT hand. Might have missed it, but why are you selling the Tudor Panda Chrono? Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks! Just because I don't have unlimited funds and I want to try out other things.
@@HarrisonElmore Unlimited funds would be nice, lol. I guess I wanted to know what would have made it better for you to keep it in your collection? Is it too thick and etc?
Great taste, great wrists, great video.... inspired...
My beater is the same watch but the "save the ocean edition". Great watch!
Nice eclectic collection . My favourite is the explorer, but, Navitimer looks amazing as well.
Two of my favorites as well obviously! Thanks!
nice, last I watched one of your videos you had the Tudor Pelagos, thought you loved it?
I'll have a video soon!
I love the classic G Shock. Nice collection!!!
Appreciate it!
Too much sentiment, but I get the concept for sure!
Very cool collection. Love the Navi!
Me too!
Great video and collection. I am looking forward to the future videos where you go a bit deeper 😊
More to come!
Congrats. Nice watches in your collection
humble, relatble and afforable...good on you mate
Great honest real video where do u get the watch box??
great video man...can you do a video on some of the things that you liked about the pelly and some of the things you didn't like about it and why you ultimately got rid of it? Thanks!
Sure thing! Next week!
@@HarrisonElmoreawesome!
The Bremot, MLC black are cool. Nice collection.
Thanks!
Absolutely love the Baltic, could be a fantastic collection starter
For sure!
Great collection and videos mate! Keep ot up
Great collection. The perfect antidote to Ben Clymer interviewing someone with 15 watches that cost $35,000 a piece.
hahaha very different feel for sure
