I would have thought the Bilt Hamber product is a maintenance polish and protection application to length the time between the full-on cut and polish and for those not doing a ceramic finish.

John, any plans to do any more stuff on interior cleaning? Particularly for fabric seats and carpets. I couldn't see much in the back catalogue except the vax spotvac

Hello, just discovered your channel and i wish i had known sooner! Just wondering if you have done a simoniz original wax review? I can't find any video review of this wax or even a comparison video with other products. It has really good reviews on amazon but i would like to see its chemical resistance to other waxes.

I've finally bought my first polisher and was looking for an AOI as a complete beginner so good timing! I went for koch chemie p6 after your last video as I've just got into a bit of koch recently. Ive bought the in2detailing da and the flex pads (purple and orange) on your recommendation pal. The bilt hamber looks a good product just to wizz over it in late summer to clean the paint up a tad? Great channel 👏

All in one abrasive and waxes are great if you don't mind doing it over and over when the filler goes away.

What would you recommend for basic paint correction for a weekend warrior? Should I invest in separate cut / compounds from something like Koch Chemic or Schols etc? Not aiming for perfection as I don't have a garage or studio to work in.

@@ForensicDetailing Does Rupes Advanced, allow us to apply waxed and sealants on top of it afterwards?

    • @ForensicDetailing

it contains a nano sealant mate so it does it all for you. If you want to wax or seal or coat. use a pure single stage like scholl S20 Black mate

@@ForensicDetailing thanks John. Appreciate the advice. Heard good things about Scholl. Will likely go down that way so I can put some fusso down on top of it.

Hi Jon, is there any chance you can review this product from America from In Detail? Called The gold standard Polish? It's apparently a one step solution with different polishing pads with different outcomes!

    Hello Jon
what do you think of the DIY Detailing gold standard polish and pads.

    • @ForensicDetailing
      @ForensicDetailing  10 месяцев назад +1

ive not used it mate but thoughts are they are in danger of pricing themselves out of the UK market. its very hard for US companies to compete price wise in the UK (and vice versa). they need to avoid being a one hit wonder brand where people buy the products once as its new. if they can get repeat business then the future is bright. not an easy problem to solve though.

Very interesting video! No ceramic infused stuff like gyeon primer and turtle wax hybrid ceramic Polish as these are the only where I care about durability as the beed up up like I want and don't just start sheeting after a 1 month week of winter road salts.

If it's so thin Jon, then surely you will use a lot less of it, than the thick & creamier rivals.
In that respect the price per application would probably be better than all the others, rather than working out price per litre ?

we touched on this, but I think the cleanser polish is abrasive+solvent+acyrlic resin and this is abrasive solve wax. the clean polish will need a seperate wax on top this wouldnt

When I looked through the range many years ago, I missed that this had protection in it and went with Cleanser Polish which was my favourite AIO until the Rupes ones came along. Uno Advanced is now the daddy!

What I love about the Bilt Hamber Laboratory polishes and waxes is they sent over a micra-fibre buffing cloth and a teardrop applicator that fits nicely into my delicate, soft little hands. I've got a new car, named Vicki the Volkswagen. Plus I have a new polisher which was, very rapidly, as usual, sent over to me from Imran's highly reputable detailing store. I used this polisher to apply the Cleanser Polish, then I hand-applied their Finis-Wax. Now my richly-lacquered Diamond Black Polo is the shiniest and slickest car I've come across in some time. Highly recommended. (the BH products, not the VW Polo although it is alright I suppose).
