There is just nobody like this astonishingly amazing singer/songwriter/guitar player/artist/angel/human. Her music destroys my soul every single time. This concert is perfect
The first time I heard her on "Spotify" and she was my first "Favorite" there. When I heard a second song, I ordered everything from Amazon I could get ( used ;-) ). I'm an artist too (paintings, writings and much more) and I am so impressed in every way from her voice, her music, her writings. It is a grace, a pleasure, a gift, it means so much more to me. I know you can't always attribute autobiographical sources for an artist's work, but I really get the feeling that Laura Marling has taken some incredibly tough experiences and turned them into something beautiful. That isn't just artistry of the highest order, that's alchemy.

I saw her live in Amsterdam, Paradiso. You could hear a needle drop in between her words as the crowd listened in awe to her beautiful music. Then a group behind me decided it was time to pick up their loud conversation. It took me one annoyed, possibly very aggresive, look and some strong curse words to make them shut the hell up until the end of the concert.

I love Laura’s music but the only Waiting Around to Die cover in my eyes is by The Be Good Tanyas. The lyrics are amazing whereas but I don’t like Townes’ voice. The Be Good Tanyas just make it feel even darker. Not saying I didn’t like Laura’s cover. I loved it but just not in line with the Be Good Tanyas’ cover
