Not quite as strong: imagine a very mature and runny brie or camembert and you are close. It is alkaline by nature so you can offset it with something like pickled ginger: those slightly pink Japanese ones, thinly sliced, work quite well and easy to obtain.
No, those cheeses are awesome. This is a rotten egg that has to be hidden within a salad or with other condiments to avoid it's disgusting taste. Avoid.
