This is like in eastern Canada where the Acadians have created a language that isn't English or French but instead a mixture called Chiac.

That's what happened to Latin. Roughly explaining Latin from Spain became Spanish, Latin from Italy Italian, Latin from France French... I'm not against this language, but I hope this doesn't turn into another tower of babel.

I beg to differ I think it’s the other way around west africans have always had a standard speech and a traditional speech the one which they talk in their village and one standard this just translated across the Atlantic so I don’t think that concept is Haitian in origin if you guys come from us...however I agree with you that there are many parallels and similarities if it becomes standard we should work with you guys to help us by saying stuff like that is not true because this only happens in West Africa . People in Congo and Tanzania and South Africa they either speak Their Colonial Language or the African language there is never a Creole mixing . That’s how unique we are alot of Haitians too are of kwa origin so the phonology is very similar.

YOURE SPEAKING ENGLISH WHY ARENT YOU SPEAKING AN ANCIENT AFRICAN LANGUAGE YOURSELF? Hypocrite. French is a part of africa at this point, it is what it is and if they wanna use it thats their choice AND THAT DOESNT MAKE THEM LESS AFRICAN! Theyre doing similar to what hatians did, and i personally find that beautiful, making it their own. Yet haters like you exist, criticizing them while youre speaking a "language of colonization" yourself.
