      there is much more than some dusty city my dear,
      as an iranian suggest you choose the season... summer could be so hot and winter in some cities are really cold. you can google about Iranian traditions which affected the world and it also might be interesting the source of that
      for example the wedding ring which all the world use is one of them and it came from ancient history of Iran

    I'm surprised, why do not tourists come to North West Side of Iran, in Asarbaijan and where I live. All visit only Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz and Yazd. actually in north west there are beautiful nature and culture and history (places of long history, churches & mountains & castles, ....)
    I mean (Ardebil, Tabriz, Urumie and Zanjan especially, with different language (Turkish), there are still nomads with their own culture and way of life, ....
    Tourists really miss a Great Adventure in Iran

    Oh, and regarding the drought, the river flows first through Esfahan, and doesn't even reach Yazd.
    The problem is a mixture of issues. There is a dam at the beginning of the River, which powers Esfahan and other cities electricity, and that's not the issue. The issue is really so many illegal wells that people have made on the shorelines for farming, and also the fact that some portion of the flow is transferred through a very long pipeline to Yazd, because that place is so dry, much drier than Esfahan, that they don't even have proper drinking water. So the city and state officials decided to let those people out of thirstiness instead of keeping the good look of another city alive. Still, this whole thing could be managed in a much better way.

      It has water in the winter when there’s enough water in the dam and not when it doesn’t, like this winter. He was told a load of nonsense.

    What i Understood from this is that Iranian Food is lipsmacking, Women are achingly gorgeous, Guys are very handsome, Capital is Typically Asian (Read Very Polluted), People are warm and welcoming.....
    .... and as usual, politics and media sucks big time.
    Namaste from India !

    The thing with everything being cheap, is for people from other countries with other currency like dollar and euro. 1 dollar is like 120000 rials, and an engineer would make around 30000000 rials a month. everything has become more expensive there's a lot of pressure on people right now. in iran u will make 3 millions a month and the car you rented is around 70 millions and a house is around 1 billion to buy. could it be any more impossible to live here???

    As an Italian-American living in Iran, I have received Keychain, rocks, and a whole bunch of other weird gifts. People get excited about foreigners. It's quite safe here. If there's a murder, it's BIG news. My kids can walk to and from school with other kids from the neighborhood, and the only thing we worry much about is the traffic. Granted, we don't live in Tehran. People sleep in parks to avoid paying for a hotel, and it's normal and safe. The government makes women wear a scarf. If you go to some places where there's unlikely to be police, everyone is scarf-less or they have caps on. If the government lifted the policy, I bet half of Tehran would be walking around in bikinis within the year. 😂 The hard part, too, is that you're a tourist with a camera. 2hat Iranians say and how they act is so different when it's private.

      @Shadow It's a natural result of not having seen foreigners. The flip side, if you live here with a dual citizenship (I.e. through marriage) is the really high degree of racism you encounter when it comes to very basic things. If Iran gets more tourists and expats, then things will change. I saw the same happen in the 15 years that I lived in China.

    Well Zayande Rood is a river which is not there all the year it's a seasonal river. The fact is the're cutting of water from Zagros mountains and Karoon river and causes problems to other cities as well

    • @dreamlandish
      @dreamlandish 3 года назад

      @Mohammed Al Dhiyabi yes for so long it's been a seasonal river and actually most of those dams are right next to mountains, where snow starts to melt and then it goes to Rivers nearby,one of the most importantly Karun, ungortunatly everyone just focus on zayande rud, ofcourse there are misarrangements but they're cutting off water from karunfor Fars,yazd and Isfahan proviences, there used to be ships in karun ,now they're just builing islands in it and dirty water floods in it. While this is a water that farmers use,khuzestan is the only best part of Iran for farming, but they don't care ,they're cutting it off for Folad factories in Isfahan with expensive budgests, because they want more money and power minister in recent years mostly were from Isfahan,so don't you think he would've care!? They all know it's seasonal but they are distracting people's minds on what they're really doing, they have made several southern and southwestern proviences misserable to build factories in places that shouldn't be, do you know about flood in 2/3 years ago? Dam was about to be broken! Because they haven't build it in a right place. Unfortunatly main focus is always on northern proviences ,Tehran,Mash'had, Shiraz, Isfahan, Tabeiz. And we should consider global warmings too, we can all feel it doesn't snow like it used too, so I guess zayande rud didn't dry out completely before but the water percantage changed too much
