Thank you for taking the time to make this, as a fellow maker I appreciate that you have this need to document your process and like to get the feedback from doing it. I have been here from the beginning of the phone charging station and would love to support you by purchasing one when they are available. This video series you have been working on has been an inspiration for me, and has pushed me to learn fusion much more in depth. I also appreciate you paying mind to your posting frequency, as less time between videos keeps each step of the process fresh in the mind and makes fleshing out the story as a whole much more complete.
Hah! I earlier asked question about your colorgrading process, but now I learned it was a bit stoopid guestion. This video taught me there is A LOT more skill, preparation and insight whichs leads to this ultimately great endresult. Great video, you are a true craftsman at many trades! Keep up this great work!
I truely have to admit, watching your videos helped me out in the ways of working when developing new items. When initially starting to design somehing, I started to also think about the production phase already and avoiding mistakes in the long term. I truely appreciate your videos and the insights you are giving.
I can identify with much of what you said and have much of the same tooling. My biggest problem/question I have for anyone doing what you do. (Making and putting out vids). Balancing the daily work that pays the bills, with trying to put in the time to move more into the making direction... I ran an auto repair shop for 15 years and recently took a job so as not to struggle as much financially, but at the sacrifice of time to move projects ahead.... What I would like and would hope is possible, is to "make", projects and they hopefully pay the bills too. Any more insights you can share on the day-to-day efforts to pay the bills and keep your aim.
Man, his lights setup is some Harry Potter shit!! All of his videos looks like there is a whole production behind it but nope, it is one man team. I am looking forward for more content, I wish you all the success man.
Man, thank you. I can’t explain how valuable this video has been and how much it has helped me restructure the way I approach my project. Keep doing what you do, much respect.
Great video, thanks very much for the insight. I came across your channel around 8 months ago and was very impressed by every aspect of your work/business; your creations, the lighting setup, editing, studio layout/setup/colours - very inspirational. It's apprectiated you giving us an insight into the tools and methods you use, to help others make informed choices when looking into purchasing their own tools or how to approach various methods of creating. Keep up the great work and hope to see more insightful content from you.
Happy to ear someone feeling the same things about the struggle of creating is own products. I tried to explain that thing to so many peoples. Unfortunately, I think it’s the designer curse to be able imagining yourself in another person's place to solve their problems. I’m actually in development phase for my owns stuffs and your videos are a part of the kick I was needed to finally taking that time.
The course might sound interesting indeed. However what I find the most of your work on youtube is the inspiration that gives a lot of willpower to actually make things myself. Which I am struggling todo given the complexity and a lots of nuances that sometimes look quite overwhelming. It’s definitely good news that there will be more content on RUclips. Keep it up 😎
well i studied mechanical engineering form high school and im currently in college doing the same. Your videos are very cool and i often find myself here. this xmas season im hoping to get a 3d printer. 😁
Amazing work bro, been following the progression of your creations for a while and I absolutely love all aspects of it, specially as I am in the process of creating and putting something in the market myself. You mentioned you wanted to make you filming setup more wireless, so when it come to the audio, take a look at the Comica VM40 which is a wireless shotgun mic with 32 bit float. Happy new year, and keep put the inspiring work 👊🏽
Love all the mixed media you include throughout your builds. I’ve been using FDM for the last 5 years exclusively and just now looking into resin but as you stated you can get such good results now with FDM it’s been hard to commit to it. Keep up the fantastic work mate. Love to see what comes next 💪 Also…the tattoos! Can’t believe no one asked about this. Would love to know more!
Thank you for the channel and each video which I ve watched Hope you will be making quality content more and more I wish you to have all you need. You’re the man how makes our days better
Bro you are an amazing artist, you can do anything you want. I look up to u, wish i had the skills u have. Keep it up man. I wish u all the best in the near future.
38:06 I think the videos this question means are from charging stand onwards at least. And I think the reasons are because they are so simple, no bs straight to the point, and they are loaded with info and knowledge, combine that with the high level cinematography and you’ve nailed the algorithm. I’ve said it before but I really enjoy your channel and I find the product design and mould making fascinating being an injection mould toolmaker
First of all, congratulations on the amazing work you do! The cinematography in your videos is absolutely stunning and what impresses me the most. Truly INCREDIBLE! I have two questions: Which software do you use for product modeling? Regarding the black resin you use in your videos, I noticed it’s PU resin, but I’m curious to know which pigment you use to make it black. Thank you in advance for your attention and for sharing such inspiring work!
Reese(?) Thanks so much for this video and the honesty in it. Super relatable, especially the part about getting in your own head and not trusting your own ideas and also taking too much on at a time. I, of course, also love your eye and wicked cinematography and since you think these things through you may not agree, but I would personally have lit you from the other side;). Since you are looking at the cam a slight angle, I kinda just like it that way. It's way more traditionally but oftentimes the classic shot just works. But I think you did it to counter the highlight and shadow patches on the wall behind you and to tie in with the light coming from the window.
I can find myself in a lot of things you say about your story. I've been working as a stuff maker too for the past 4 years now, doing my very best to be able to live from this activity. But in comparison, I still can't manage to achieve this goal, well only half living from it. So hearing your story makes me feel humble lol, nature is not fair! 😄 I've learned a lot on my own too, and I think I'm quite good at what I'm doing. But I still have big ossues, like organization or marketing abilities that retains me from sucess. Thank you for the inspiration though. 👍
As a side note to your therapeutic comment, I think what my take away is that it’s therapeutic for me because of the consistency in shots, lighting, and minimalism involved. I know it takes a great deal of effort to have a simple clean space for videography and I can relate to being aware of those surroundings make for videos that aren’t overly busy in the backgrounds. The overall aesthetic of your videos and shop space has given me inspiration to be much more mindful of my own. For me the clutter in my space doesn’t aide in the creativity aspect of design and workflow. I’m sure you’re the same.
I have not done any modeling yet. You have changed my thinking to consider it for batches of products. I would buy into a course if you come out with a long form practice and discipline of that art. I would need to know the basics to focus on, and then what things to watch for and adjust as products are made. I enjoy problem solving as well my friend. I need to be doing it or I fall apart.
Sanding body filler is a great skill to have when learning more skill. I was good at it before going in to clay modeling and it sure helped. Any tactile hand work should come before learning cad / surface modeling.
cant wait to see how your course turns out, ( I am interested in a course ) I do have a question though, is there a way for me to self asses on aspects I need to improve to go for amateur hobby to professional hobbiest ?
Dude I know nothing about fabrication or design but your story is amazing and your talent is undeniable. Subscribed (and will get that MF charger when I get some funds). Keep up the amazing work! 👊🏼🔥
Thank you man I appreciate it! Well spotted as well. It’s a 1990 2.3 20v. Got it just over a month ago and been dying to get stuck into doing bits. Now I’ve finished for the year it’s all I’ll be doing over the Christmas period 😄 Thanks for watching!
I've been following you for so long and I admire every single thing about your work, from the video, camera angles, b-roll, and all your 3D manufacturing, design, and work processes. I see that this video is dubbed into Spanish, for me it's something incredible, you can't imagine how much I follow and admire you. In fact, I'm dedicated to something similar. I mass produce products in resin and sell them through e-commerce. Wow, waw, waw, seeing this in Spanish is a total change. I'm infinitely grateful for allowing me to see your workflow and creativity.
Thank you! I’m genuinely impressed with those printers. Those were literally the preset settings, which impressed me even more to be honest. I’m pretty sure it was the 0.08mm setting without looking back at the file. The filament was the matte charcoal PLA, which does help with hiding the layers even more, but still, very impressed! Thanks for watching and for your support!
@ That is truly impressive. Thank you for sharing! I’ll have a look at that filament. Your videos and products are a work of art. Can’t wait to see future videos!
Have you ever worked with parts that need a little bit of snap joints or need to be elastic enough to deform a bit to snap joints? If you have can you suggest some resins to make a part with that much of elasticity.
I actually looked into this abit yesterday and came across the PLA and PETG method. I haven’t tried it just yet but it does look really clean! I have some PETG in so it’s definitely something I’m going to try! Thanks for watching!
I was already in bed when this dropped. I just knew I had to get up and get on the PC to watch this, here I am... This man don't miss.
Thank you I appreciate you man! Very grateful to have so much support from people on here 👊🏻
your detail to lights and shots is crazy. respect!

Great and honest content. Good job!. A detailed tutorial/ course for molding process would be amazing in 2025!

You should make an online course!

A design/modelling to print series would be awesome please
I need your course! Especially mold making
Just to clear your mind. You are a filmmaker!!!
This video is helpful and inspiring AF !

Another amazing video. Well done! What filament and settings did you use for the prints at 5:40, those are so clean!

For your audio setup, are you using an external recorder for the MKE 600?
Mate, you have an MMU. you can do multi-material supports and stuff. Have you dipped into that? doing PLA/PETG supports is so freakin crisp
I actually looked into this abit yesterday and came across the PLA and PETG method. I haven’t tried it just yet but it does look really clean! I have some PETG in so it’s definitely something I’m going to try! Thanks for watching!
Great.
What were those coins @ 5:45 ?
Thanks! Those are two coins from Ryan Holiday / The Daily Stoic. One is the memento mori coin and the other is the obstacle is the way.
There’s the link! store.dailystoic.com/collections/coins
hello! do you plan to sell a digital version of your models? like other designers do.
You should create a Udemy course……🙏👍
I would buy a Fusion 360 course if you did it.
I second this!

I am watching your video in 4K, but it feels like a much lower resolution, why is it so?
teach me master lmao
How to find customers in these crazy days of world. Are people buying? or keeping their money.
I can make anything. But without buyers its pointless
